“I picked Das Mechanic for the high reviews although it was far from my house . And boy I’m so glad I did ! The owner Gabor is one of the most honest mechanics you will find in your life . He takes the time to explain what is good or wrong with your car . He even try to save you money ! I cannot say enough good things about this place !not a surprise he is the king of European car fixing , in his garage I saw BMW, Audi, VW , Volvo , Porsche etc . “Toyota dealer quoted me 850 for 1 CV Axle replacement. That would put their labor costs somewhere around ~250 an hour or higher. Absurd.
Got it done for under 400 at Chaussee, and it is smooth under turns again. So far so good and very happy with the value. So many mechanics just take you to the cleaners but not at Chaussee.”

“Highly recommend - came in looking for a quote for some light rust removal, fully expecting to leave the car with them and come back to a $500-1000 or more repair bill. Darryl came out, took a quick look, and then used some sort of magic potion and the rust literally melted off with intact paint underneath. The man is a magician! I hope I don't have a need for any other body work soon, but if and when I do, these guys will be my first call. “I recently purchased a vehicle with Zimbrick Chevrolet, the day of the purchase before I even drove it off the lot the TPS light was on. I mentioned something about it to the employees and they took the vehicle to Kwik trip to fill the tire. Light turned off and everything seemed fine, I live about 45 minutes to an hour away from this dealership and I didn’t even make it home before I had a flat tire. I ended up having to pay almost $300 for a tow back in to town and when I called the dealership they were very apologetic. From there they ended up towing the car back down to the dealership and replacing the flat tire and one other one that had bubbling on the outer wall, no charge. They promised to reimburse me for the original tow and to expect a check in the mail. I waited two weeks before having to reach out to them to ask where the check was and they hadn’t even sent it out yet. Finally almost one more week later I got my reimbursement. Overall I’d say it was a decent experience, everyone was friendly and my salesman, Tom, did everything he could to help me. My advice is to make sure you do a very thorough check of any vehicle you are looking at purchasing through this dealership. I understand that things happen but this was a crazy oversight and I ended up missing work this day so although I was reimbursed I still missed out on wages. In addition, I had to go without a vehicle for 3 days after purchasing due to it being the weekend. Luckily things worked out in the end, it could have definitely been worse, I do absolutely love my new vehicle and I haven’t had any issues since. They will work with you if you work with them!”
“My grand daughter 's car wouldn't start even with the new battery My daughter and I jumped it and she said let's go to Meineke which is a couple hundred feet from the apartment. I wasn't thrilled to take it to a "muffler" shop but it was the best thing I did. The young lady named Dallas went above and beyond to help us even though they were super busy. The technician who's name I didn't get was such a gentleman and told us our problem. I can't say enough kind things about Dallas and this man. Just know they helped us out and we're soooo kind. Sure restored my faith in kindness and genuine caring. Meineke is super lucky to have these people representing them.”
