Can’t say enough about Chris (Owner/Mechanic) and Jessica at the front desk. Clean shop, knowledgeable, honest. I’m a realtor and travel often for showings, meetings etc. and was in the area from out of town. My primary vehicle was already in a different shop so I was driving one of my work trucks when it started leaking oil heavily out of my engine oil cooler line late on a Friday night. Chris worked some magic and moved things around just to accommodate me early the very next morning (Saturday). The proper engine oil cooler lines were only in stock down in Kenosha and he went out of his way and had a friend go pick them up and get them to the shop so he could finish install prior to closing at 2pm. He looked over everything else and was as honest as they come. Super nice clean shop. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone to go to Chris.

We were visiting from out of town when the Suburban started running rough and tripped the money light. A+ was very accommodating and fit us into their schedule even though they were short-staffed that day. The check engine light root cause was quickly determined and a repair completed a couple of hours later. The truck now runs like new and we are at ease that the 4-state trek home will not find us stranded. Very pleased with the quality work and the very friendly service. Would make this our preferred auto maint/repair place if we lived here.

A+ has done a few repairs of various "difficulty" and time involved and every single time they have been beyond wonderful. Everything from scheduling the appointment to communication while the vehicle was there to paying the bill was nothing short of excellent. Highly recommended

Friendly and welcoming staff. I had them perform a few repairs and diagnostic on my car and they did a well job besides a missing vacuum hose that allowed my MAF sensor to go bad. They told me it would be $150 for a replacement + labor (that's around ~$80 for labor for a part that was not my fault, and a quick 20 second fix). Otherwise, a reliable and nice mechanic shop.

I do not recommend this shop at all. Poor customer service. Promised the car would be done on 3 separate occasions. Kept saying they couldn’t find the parts. It took almost two weeks for break works to get completed.

It's taken me way too long to write this review: the folks at A+ Automotive really helped our family out of a jam last summer. Our starter went out on a Friday evening at pretty much the halfway point of our trip from visiting family in Fort Wayne, IN to our home in Minneapolis. We saw that A+ Automotive was open on Saturdays, so we had AAA tow it there and spent the night in Sturtevant. Of course, as fate would have it, we called the next morning only to find out that A+ Automotive was in the process of moving to their new location–they were closed for the day and would remain closed for the entire week! However, they very quickly appreciated our predicament, took pity on us, LITERALLY unpacked their tools, and had us back on the road within a few hours. One of the employees even came and picked me up from the hotel in his personal vehicle when our car was ready (I'm sorry friend, I can't remember your name! ?). I still feel so grateful when I think back on it. Thank you all for your compassion and “A+” service–I hope the new location is working out for you all!
If (God forbid) we ever have car trouble on the way to or from Indiana again, I at least hope it's near Sturtevant so I’ll know who to call! ?

My fiancé made an appointment the week of 12/11 for the following Tuesday 12/19, she was flexible enough to have the car there before they opened. They close at 5 and we haven’t heard all day so called around 4 pm with not much info from the shop at all. Around 4:30 I went and got the car because we couldn’t leave overnight when we made an appointment for that day. I got the keys and picked up the car, was told they would call with additional info. We never heard from them that day or days after. Not very professional in our eyes. So now we still have car issues and left with confusion. Luckily I got the car somewhere a little more customer focused!
