We had the most amazing experience of any bed and breakfast in our traveling history. The farmhouse is beautifully restored, our room so perfectly comfortable, ultra clean and quiet.

This is the best Bed and Breakfast in Door County. Located in a modernized farm house on a working sheep farm, this place is clean, quiet and easy to get to on the east side of Door County just off of Wis. 57. The breakfasts are always wonderful, there is an local artist gallery and working sheep farm too. The gallery offers wool products, various pottery pieces and local photographer's mounted photos of life on Door County.

We stayed here in mid July. It is a fantastic Bed and Breakfast on the right side of the Peninsula, away from all the tourist attractions of Egg Harbor, etc. If you want to be off the beaten path on an adorable sheep farm, then this is the place for you. They have a small store on site where they sell items made from the sheep wool and other local artists. There is a state park right down the road that has a nice beach and hiking trails. Gretchen gives plenty of suggestions of what to see in Door County and what to avoid. There is no wifi or TV in the rooms, but you have a herd of sheep for entertainment.

Beautiful old farmhouse on 80 acres with a sheep farm! The home is immaculately clean and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Our bed was so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious - sour cream cherry pancakes one day and eggs and scones the next day. Gretchen is a wonderful hostess with lots of stories to tell and helpful dinner recommendations to suggest. No free wifi but who needs it! Go sit on the porch and enjoy the peace and quiet. Solitude - just what I needed! Our final day, we got to visit the sheep. Adorable little lambs. Wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful experience!!!

As B&B first timers, we had no idea what to expect, but we were excited about the sheep! Gretchen, the owner was friendly, informative, and made some delicious breakfast and coffee throughout our stay! Stayed in the King-size room, and it was huge! Bathroom was decently sized and everything seemed clean and cared for. The sheep farm aspect was probably the most unique and exciting part! On the farm tour we were introduced to hundreds of sheep by name, and they were friendly and enjoyed our company! I would definitely recommend this spot, both for the quality as well as the location! It was nice to be on the 'quieter side' and be able to take short drives to the busier areas when we felt like it.

There is a lot going on at this place, so let me specify that my review is for the art gallery / yarn store. This couple not only runs a B&B but one of them weaves and the other spins and dyes yarn. Both of these things made from the wool of their sheep. The quality is high and the prices very reasonably. Gorgeous yarn. They also carry some items from other local artisans. Gretchen was very nice and helpful and gave my mom some info about spinning and where to buy wheels etc. I highly recommend stopping by.
