My husband and I stayed at the White Lace Inn. When we arrived we were greeted right away by the owner, and he was very helpful. The rooms were beautiful. I was very impressed with the size of the hot tub in the room. The breakfast was really nice and the waitresses were super friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. I have already told a few friends about it. Stay was comfortable in the gardens Were beautiful. Lots of cute little shops are in the area. It was a fun place to stay. It will definitely be a nice memory that we have.

Very nice rooms in homes with historical appeal. Service, food, and staff are excellent. Was a bit of a drive from Sturgeon Bay to the upper Door county towns, but the folks at White Lace do their best to make it worth the drive. We were very pleased with our stay and will be back.

We are currently staying in the Washburn house and it is just absolutely charming.
Upon arrival, the innkeeper gave us some history of the place, as well as talked about the bed posts from 1840! Very interesting!
The breakfast was great and the coffee was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another night and extended our trip.
The room is clean and smells nice.
We will definitely book again next time we are in the area!
Also, don't forget to pet Borris, the very friendly cat that was outside. He's so sweet.

If you are looking for for a special lodging experience, this is it. Super considerate, detailed, and fantastic Victorian style from inside out. Easy access if you are traveling to door county. We also enjoy the included breakfast! Don’t miss the garden!

A great BnB. Our room was beautifully furnished. Very clean. Four houses clustered together in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely garden with gazebo, fountain, and fish pond. Just a few blocks from downtown. Breakfasts were very good. Staff friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

My Husband surprised me with this Wonderful Romantic getaway for our 40th Anniversary! It was like a step back into time. The main White Lace Inn was a Beautiful Victorian Masion where we enjoyed our breakfast. Our room was in the Garden house,with a balcony overlooking the Gardens and water fall area. Our room was a Lovely nostalgic, crisp clean and comfortable romatic ? room,I felt like a Princess! We enjoyed meandering in the gardens during the daytime as well as with the "twinkle lights" at night. The gazebo was our favorite, but there wereand other sweet little choice areas to sit and relax in. Everything had that warm and welcoming atmosphere,including the welcoming, friendly staff. The sumptuous breakfasts were something special to look forward to,like eating in a five star exquisite restaurant, a very yummy wayto start your day . We enjoyed our stay...and we will be back! We recommend this Lovely place for all those Romantic Lover's needing a break from the Norm!!

Wonderful location, great owners and staff, delightful breakfast and various rooms for residence to stay in lost with a fireplace. Lovely gardens. Within easy walking distance of downtown Sturgeon Bay.

White Lace Inn was such a wonderful experience this past weekend. Dennis was very helpful and gave us great dinner suggestions/other things to do around town. We got a chance to stop at Dancing Bear Toys and met the other owner of the Inn, Bonnie, who was very sweet. A highlight of this little getaway was meeting all of their furry friends either at the toy shop or at the Inn. We loved the room- we were very excited about the VCR and DVD option-- you don't see this anywhere anymore and we couldn't wait to stop by one of the local shops to pick up some VHS tapes. Nostalgic. I also must mention the breakfast--amazing!!! I cannot wait for another stay here in the future. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I spent a weekend in Door County in the off season (March). White Lace Inn was everything we hoped for and more. Charming rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Dennis was a great host! We will definitely be returning.

Always enjoy visiting Door County.

Walkability: Close to everything downtown, within 3 blocks. Everything you need for restaurants to shopping experiences.
Noteworthy details: Yummy breakfast provided each morning.
BTW, hey Dennis...where'd you get those chocolate chip cookies....omg, the best!!!

We stayed in their Washburn House, Suite B and the room was so comfortable. The place was a lovely mix of old, well maintained things and modern convenience. We will definitely be back!Rooms: The room was so lovely, but also quite comfortable.Walkability: You can easily walk to downtown with several dining and shopping options.Food & drinks: They breakfast they served was quite good and you had a few options to choose from. You could choose to sit at smaller tables or at the larger, 8 person table.

I’ve been visiting friends and family in Sturgeon Bay for decades, and for some reason I never came across this place until my most recent visit this past week. Everything was wonderful, and the location is central to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The service is amazing and the rooms are extremely reasonable and clean. Breakfast was service with a smile each morning and it was absolutely delicious. Special thanks to owner Dennis. Marsha (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly), who waited on me each morning, was kind and just lovely. It was a truly special experience and I will be back in the future. Highly recommend.
