Even during a busy Fall weekend the store was a joy to find and everyone was friendly and helpful! The people we met were kind, there is a sense of community spirit (Boy Scout and Mom raising funds with the annual popcorn sale) yet a welcome for people coming in from out of state to share in the beautiful change of colors happening in the seaon. A full service store, as well a full service fuel stop too. Happy we found this great place on our advertures in Door County!

Welsing’s is the most amazing store! The selection somehow far exceeds what the footprint would indicate. Plus they have so many fabulous local items. Fresh food, great beer and wine selection, etc. Love it!!

Bad first experience today! My family and I stopped for gas and some snacks for the kids. I went in to prepay $20 on the pump and then took my daughter to the restroom. My husband was trying to pump our gas outside and it wasn't working. We went up to the register to make our other purchase and asked the woman cashiering to help with the pump. She said the pump "timed out" and clearly didn't care. She wasn't very pleasant to begin with but was clearly annoyed by this rightful request. The bell was dinging for gas and she told us she had to check out the other 5 customers first. We stood there and waited just for her to push a button after all those customers were out. This was chaotic and poor service. The only person who was kind to us was the woman working in back. Kudos to you! To add insult to injury, we discovered the cookies we had bought during our visit were expired by two months. Gross! We will not be back.

Don't let the size fool you, there's a lot packed in this little store. And you can't beat the Customer Service.

Everything you need for a long weekend in Door County. They have the basics as well as great meats and baked goods. They also have many locally produced items like eggs, maple syrup, and Sequest jams. The best part of the experience is they don't require a mask: freedom at Foodland

I usually love this place - almost always stop for gas and basics when heading up to our place. Unfortunately- today I stopped in and neither employee wearing a mask - most customers not wearing masks.I was pretty surprised and disappointed. I left quickly. The Covid numbers in Wisconsin are through the roof. Door County needs to pull together before being over run with Covid.Welsing’s Foodland - please start wearing masks and requiring masks.Please.

It's difficult to imagine that this part of Door County is a food desert, but without Welsing's Foodland, it would be. Fortunately, Welsing's is a well-stocked store that carries most of the things one might need in a pinch. Additionally, they sell gasoline and have a food truck on the property. Unfortunately, they boil all the fat out of the brats, making them dry and flavorless. On the plus side, they even have fresh vegetables on hand.
