I would like to thank Julie for her personal attention when a death in the family caused us to have to cancel. We had stayed at Tranquil Timbers in the past, and decided to stay again while visiting friends in Sturgeon Bay.We will certainly be back.Rooms: Appreciated having a cabin without having to hear noses from =ooms on either side. Enjoyed the privacy.

If you have dogs and like to relax with them outside in a pen, this is not your place. The park is OK but very disappointed they won't let us use our temporary fencing for the dogs. Will have to keep them indoors for almost 5 days. They said it's in the rule book.... which is fine.. until I look across the way and see this neighbor. Just seems pretty silly if it's about astethics...it shouldn't matter if you live here or not. None of this was laid out on the website or mentioned prior to arriving. Also the only resort we've been to that disallows this.We were planning more time here but this is a deal breakerUpdate: our trip concluded and we still have stains from the highly sulfuric well water they have at the sites. It smells like rotten eggs and was quite unpleasant, leaving stains in my toilet and shower.. not to mention it always looks like someone just peed because it's is soo yellow

So, this is a hidden gem. What a wonderful place to take the family to really relax but still camp. Highly suggest. Neat little store, pool, mini golf, little fun activities, wonderful memories and we'll be back.

Our go to place for over 20 years. Something for all ages. This is a campground with some basic rental cabins and furnished park model trailers. Seasonal sites have their own sections. Handles large units with pull through.

We camped here in a class C for 3 nights. Our site was big and spacious, lots of seasonal camp sites. Campground is huge and close to the bay and hiking trail. My only complaint would be the rules, lots of them! We were told no fences for our dogs but the seasonal site behind us had a large fenced in area! The laundry is contradictory as there are 2 prices listed for a wash and of course it is the more expensive one.Overall I would recommend the campground, clean, quite and close to everything especially the wine tours.

A very nice campground and bath houses are clean. We had a campsite in the "maple" section (basically a big, grassy field). Giving 4 stars because the sites are not even (no gravel pads). This causes campers to park their trailers every which way, thereby encroaching on other campers' sites. Also, we saw electricians fixing power to some of the sites and some campers had to move due to no power when they arrived. I would have stayed in the "pine" section if I had known better.Nearby activities: Connected to Potawatomi State Park nearby. Can bike to Sturgeon Bay from campground. Can walk to Waterfront Mary's, a great bar and grill.

One of our favorite camp sites. We rented a cabin to have AC for our dogs, it was very clean and super easy access to the bathrooms which are by far the cleanest restrooms I've ever used in a campsite. We used the pool which was fun, and it looks like there's a lot of activities on the site to keep kids busy (playground, mini golf that they were actively repairing, tennis courts I think). Employees were very friendly and helpful with giving tips on where to visit while there. Loved it, will be sure to visit again.

Great location right outside of Sturgeon Bay. Nice pool and amenities. The campsites that are seasonal are very spacious and feels like a fun community. We stayed in the spaces dedicated for Thousand Trails. Our only complaint was the lack of cell service and the wifi was not good. Bath houses were nice and clean and the laundry area was also clean and all machines worked.
