Artists Stephanie Trenchard and Jeremy Popelka have established a one of a kind Door County Experience in Sturgeon Bay with their gallery and glass workshop. Established in 1997, Trenchard and Popelka's Gallery has emerged as one of the more eclectic places to visit in the area. Besides the 2000 degree glass furnace and its accompanying equipment there is plenty of glass work and fine art that was created by the two permanent artists in residence. To see actual glass making be sure to call ahead because of the changing schedule and the current state of affairs. Individual glass blowing classes should be reserved several weeks in advance but please call for availability.
