Nice location with great customer service, someone was being loud and playing obnoxious music next to us from 11:30pm to almost 3am and we asked to be moved the next morning and they got us set up in a new campsite no problem. Great amenities, just make sure you take showers in the actual shower rooms and not the pool showers ahaha.

Campground was crazy busy and too many kids in the road.. Also, you need to repave or fill the holes on your roads through the campground.. It wasn't pleasant having to deal with it all

It's the first "Jellystone" out of all of them. Hasn't changed a bit since I went there with my dad as a kid, that's several decades ago. They have a diverse number of sites to accommodate large R.V.'s and also tent sites depending on availability of course. I like it, but I'd say probably ask questions as to what it is and what it is not to find out if it's what you're looking for. I'm not a "glam-per, but I'm also not a "roughing it" kind of camper, depends on the person probably on what you think of it, we think it's a 5 star. I never "outgrow" the place. I'm not sure why I had it only rated as a 4 star before, so I've updated the rating. I sort of hear varied things from people about it, if your looking for an experience close to a hotel which I guess some people might kind of think that, it's not that, but you might be able to make it that if you have a complete system on your own like a really deluxe camper, and if your looking to show the kids roughing it, not that either, probably why I had it listed as 4 initially because people vary so much on what people want out of "camping". Every time I've been there the pool is really clean. If you're looking for a lot of activity stuff for the kids to do I'd say go on the weekend, if you're looking for a slower pace kick back and read a book and just go on quiet walks or something slower paced, I'd say best chance for that is midweek sometime. I'd like to get up there more than I do, summer gets busy. For me it's sort of like "living in the past" which is kind of cool, they even still play older Yogi shows close to dusk, I think they always did that there, but just on certain nights. If you are planning on working from there like "half vacation" think through your "internet plan" if relying on what is offered there. Also, if you don't want a lot of activity around you, think of the site location. Someone was kind of saying some things about those things last time I was there, but also had been making hotel comparisons - again it's not that.

Went tent camping for 2 nights 3 days. They advertise a bounce pad but they didn’t set it up any of the days we were there. We asked every day and they wouldn’t. The store is so overpriced. They charge for the arts and crafts activities and the mini golf is very expensive. The playgrounds are very rundown and falling apart. Nothing is maintained. The only nice thing was the pools. They also advertise barrel rides and that wasn’t happening either. The only thing to do at this campground is use the pools.

It's a nice enough campground. The pool is nice and the camp store and activities check all the boxes. The bathrooms are plentiful and in pretty good shape. My biggest complaint is the campsites. The ground is very rocky and with trees it is difficult to find a site that can accomodate multiple tents. We made it work, but to get up two tents on the site took a lot of work and swearing. We very nearly left when we got there to find a better place.

We have been coming here for 30 years and this is still a nice family campground. The owner is always there and friendly.

Staff are very kind to others and the bear comes out at cpl times a day.guests around are very welcoming and friendly

This park has 2 pools and some playgrounds, good for kids. The very dusty gravel roads are narrow and hard to manuver. There is no signage on the gravel roads, so it's hard to find your campsite, and they are cramped and hard to back into. The water pressure is very low and the wifi is free, but you have to sign in constantly.

Was a nice campground to get together for family reunion in door county. We selected this location because it had extra activities for the kids. My only real complaint is that they list the mini golf as an amenity but it is not actually included with camping. For the extra cost we paid to play a round of golf, the course was not well designed or maintained.
