After reading many reviews, we picked this beautiful inn to stay at during our trip to Door County. It was even better than expected! All the rooms are very spacious suites with nice views of the water. Being right on the Sturgeon Bay, it has a big lawn, a pier, and seats for watching the magnificent sunsets. Though it is in a quiet area off the beaten path, it is within a short driving distance to Sturgeon Bay museums and restaurants (including Culver’s, McDonalds, and local restaurants), and not far from many other tourist attractions in Door County. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite had a full kitchen, large living room, fireplace, jacuzzi, and deck, and it was very well-maintained and nicely decorated. Next time we visit Door County, we will stay here again!

We have 7 camping couples that get together for a long weekend in the winter and Bay Shore Inn has very nice accommodations for guests. We rent the 2 bed 2 barh suites that are big enough to host all of us in one room for breakfast and dinner. And the views are THE BEST. Quiet but close to town.

This place is as fabulous as the photos! The staff was welcoming well before our stay with personal emails with instructions and information. Our family of 9 stayed in 3 rooms and we could have easily doubled up with all the space that we had. The surprise "extras" included a heated pool, pool table and darts that we enjoyed every night. We had never been to Door County before but plan to make this trip again. Bay Shore Inn will be our first choice!

Wonderful Inn by the lake. We reserved a one-bedroom lake view room. It had a full kitchen and plenty of room. Staff was very friendly, and we had no issues. Room was extremely clean and seemed to have been updated recently. We had a great time, and will come here again.

Absolutely love this place. Have been coming back for years. Everyone we have introduced to this place is now a fan!Nearby activities: Close to everything but nicely secluded. No food or beverage service. Each unit is like a small condo. Kitchen area very nice. All utensils needed are provided.Food & drinks: Self shop very near . Delivery restaurants all around.

We have been staying at the BSI for many years. Beautiful condos, grounds and wonderful staff. We love this place and would never stay anywhere else!Rooms: Always very clean and well equipped and furnished.

Lovely resort type atmosphere, very large suites, clean with very slight wear and tear. Only complaint, in the 1 bedroom suite we stayed at in the south building, 2nd floor, the elevator is located next to this unit and is very loud when being used. There's a double bump sound that is prominent in the living area that was annoying whenever the elevator motor started up. If you're a light sleeper, it might be bothersome. Wish I would have known that when making reservations.I would stay here again, however, if I wasn't located next to the elevator.

My fiance and I reserved a room block at the Bay Shore Inn to host our wedding guests (as well as ourselves!), and it was incredible! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with stunning views of the water, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We even rented their meeting room for our casual post-wedding bruncheon, and it suited our group perfectly. I would highly recommend Bay Shore Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway; it was truly an amazing experience. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
