Alan fixed a frame issue we had with a family heirloom type piece. The quality of the work was excellent and he was able to get it done for us quicker than expected. He also gave my wife and I a tour of the studio, which is just amazing. A lot of stunning local art and even a very special museum quality piece section. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Woodland art studio has helped be the last 4 years of printing photos for my competition I enter then into. Very friendly and definitely try’s to put your needs first. I will forever recommend them!

Great experience! Highly recommend! I had two, large, high-quality signed and numbered prints from an artist friend that I wanted framed. I had an idea of what I wanted. Alan took the time to demonstrate what my idea would look like, and then demonstrated some ideas he had. No judgement was made on my idea, but there is a reason he does this for a living and I do not! I went with Alan's ideas and the results were incredible. My friend, whose work was the subject of the framing work, was very impressed and appreciated Alan's eye for pulling tones from the work and reflecting those in the framing. The back of the frame work (wire, hooks, etc.) was great given the size and weight of the finished products.

Alan has a great eye for color and design. His suggestions and choices made our framed artwork display perfectly. We have used Woodland studios for 4 pieces over the years and will continue to come back for all our framing and display needs.

I would highly recommend the framing services at Woodland Studios. I had 4 small quilling cards and a large print matted and framed. Alan and Heather took great care in helping select the perfect look for my projects. I couldn’t be any happier with the results. What a gem of a local gallery and expert talent Alan has for framing. I’ll be back for sure. Reasonably priced and highly professional staff and work.

Happened upon this gallery by accident. The owner was kind to share local history of one the artists, Gary Kvalheim. Gary turns gourds into fine art with extremely, precise detail of a level that would be hard to match. There are a variety of art styles presented, and it would be hard not to fall in love with many of the pieces here. Framing is also offered.

If you appreciate and can afford quality, this is the place to go. As others have mentioned, Alan takes the time to consult, and is evening willing to provide multiple options, providing rationale for each alternative. Yes, you can find cheaper options, but if you want quality work in a quality presentation, that you will appreciate for many years to come, invest in Woodland Studios.

Our 45 year old Hagman framed print had fallen and required careful frame and matte replacement. Alan did an excellent job. It is once again hanging on display for our viewing pleasure.

Went to Alan at Woodland Studios to frame a piece for my husband. The work was excellent and reasonably priced. It is obvious that Alan is very knowledgeable and cares about what he does. The curation in his gallery is also gorgeous.

Woodland Studios is a treasure! My husband and I spent at least an hour with the owner, Alan Sheets, while he took the time to share his expertise on pieces we were interested in. He shared his personal art gallery with us which is spectacular. He has pieces you would find in museums but here they are....so close... and free for viewing.Treat yourself and stop in and see the beautiful art Alan has on display from local and national artists.

I have had Woodland Studios do several mounting projects for me and each has been incredible. Their eye for detail, matching up documents and photos that we in the frame was incredible. They are the best at what they do!

Alan is amazing! I drove from Madison last year to have two family heirloom watercolors matted and framed at this great studio. Alan took the time to look over the pieces with me and recommend matting and frames to complement each piece. He turned the pieces around in just a few weeks so I could gift them to my dad for Christmas. He did such a wonderful job that I went back again for another piece this year! I absolutely recommend Alan and Woodland studios - he is wonderful to work with, and his quality is unmatched.
