I have to admit to never having been inside, but I love the preponderance of stunning, Midwestern, small town Opera Houses that Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and even Colorado have to offer.

I really enjoyed the Norwegian singing group they saying some Norwegian songs and they saying some religious songs from The Book of Psalms Psalm 71 they sing and it was just beautiful it's a group of all men and if this is an inkling of the performances that they do at the Stoughton Opera House I would be more than delighted to attend other events in the near future.

A lovely venue. We saw the Arcadian Wild band and I must say that they rocked the house! The bonus was when they performed two songs off mike as their finale.

Cute little theater but just because they sell you a drink on your way to your seat doesn't mean you can enjoy it during the show. You will stand outside the theater to drink it before you can be seated.

We had a chance to see Jorma Kaukonen at this wonderful venue. Beautiful location and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby for before and after the show.

The 123 year old opera house is a memorable walk back in time on how the architect used their skills to design a phenomenal theater with a booming clock tower. A small quiant stage that invites the preformer(s) and the audience to share an intimate night together. I always look forward to spending a night at the opera.

Beautiful and very cozy atmosphere. Sound was fantastic and it's just a gorgeous old opera house. Well worth the visit for a show if you enjoy theatre or music.

Oh, and the seats now have cushions!The Stoughton Opera House is a pleasant surprise, full of charm, extraordinaire architecture, and intimate alcoves.The staff are amazing, with their knowledge and passion for all that this place is. Be sure to come early for an event, and partake of the fresh baked goods, the bar, and videos of past performances. I think their Spring 2022 flyer (1st pic) is a work of art...so powerful.
