I've always gotten good service here. I ordered all of my building materials for a three season porch project, and the person at the lumber desk was friendly and made sure I had all the stuff I'd need for a standard project like that. As for the hardware store, they have all the hardware store stuff you'd expect, plus a surprisingly large selection of charcoal and grilling equipment. I've also special ordered some things and they showed up fast. This is my go-to place in Stoughton.

Went in a silly idea of building our own deck.... Walked out feeling confident to do so strictly because of the outstanding customer service from Anthony Gomez! His knowledge (and patience with all of our questions) was remarkable. He never pushed us one way or another on what to buy, just gave expert advise and a few tips along the way. In a time when we have run into struggling customer service wherever we go... this was an amazing experience. Kudos to Anthony and all the staff at Stoughton Lumber! You now have 2 additional customers for life!

We have used Stoughton for over 20 years to replace exterior doors. They have a great group of craftsmen who work at it until the finished job looks great. I have recommended them to friends who have been just as satisfied with their new doorways as well.

Ace is apparently no longer the place with the helpful hardware man. Every time I come here I leave more and more frustrated because you can never find a clerk who knows where anything is. They choose to give a blank stare and run away. Sad thing is the clerks just stand behind the registers doing nothing when they could actually be learning where things are in the store. I try to shop local whenever I can, but this place makes me want to drive straight past and hit the big box store.

The store employees don't know how to process a return and were completely unhelpful. the employees and came off as lazy and unwilling to do anything to help. never going back to this location.

I usually leave this store without buying anything, because I can't find what I'm looking for and can't find anyone to help. It's a very frustrating store.

There rental of equipment is Very Expensive. You can rent the same tools at other places for one fourth the cost.

Stoughton Lumber went above and beyond this weekend with the rental of their party supplies! All the kids and adults enjoyed the dunk tank and cotton candy! Very much appreciated and will definitely be renting from them again!

Garage door broke Thursday night. I called right away Friday at 6:10 a.m. Was told the technician would call at 7 a.m. to set up appointment, called before 7:00 a.m. and they arrived at 7:40 a.m. Outstanding customer service and they went above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend!! 5 star rating!

We rented tables, chairs, and the portapotty trailer for our wedding and were very pleased with what we got! Items delivered and picked up in a timely manner, with the delivery men even helping to set tables up! Would definitely use them again!

Dan replaced the springs and cables on our garage. He did an amazing job, explained everything to us, and showed us what the issues were. He was on time, friendly, and the cost was beyond reasonable. We will absolutely have him do any future work. Thank you!!
