Indigo Yoga is the ONLY hot studio in the area with FAR infrared heaters and an RN [REGISTERED NURSE]- SUPERVISED/DESIGNED safety protocol for all Yogis. This has been the case even pre-covid. I feel safer here than in any other facility. This is a place of immense healing regardless of online class or in-person sessions. I have been studying yoga for 17 years across the world. I have been to all the studios in Las Cruces. For the last 5 years, and well into the next, I choose Indigo exclusively for my health and wellness. #YOGAISESSENTIAL

Excellent, long-term providers of healthy living through balance, strength, and holistically-based yoga practices --as well as macrobiotic eating and organic cooking consultations. Highest respect for Wendy as a wise, hard-working, talented, and respectful instructor, chef, and mom. Decades of experience make her professional practice in yoga, food selection, and preparation exceptionally good.

Your silence in such a time of injustice speaks volumes to who and what you are. I cant support you at all.... I hope others feel the same way. You, Indigo yoga are part of the problem.

DO NOT go to indigo yoga!! I had a horrible experience at this studio. I am a certified yoga instructor and have been practicing for several years. I took a class at indigo with the owner while visiting my family. From the moment I arrived she acted like I was a huge inconvenience because I was new to the class. She would get annoyed whenever I would take a rest and go into child's pose. But the worst part was I went into an inversion during class. She was speaking with another student, but said "Hold on I have to deal with this." She then proceeded to walk over to me and yell at me to get down and that I should never ever do that again. I was frankly shocked at the horrible treatment I received. I have attended hundreds of yoga classes and have never ever had an experience like this. Yoga is about you listening to your body, resting when you need to, and pushing yourself into more advanced postures when YOU want to. If I could give indigo zero stars I would. Not welcoming at all. Atrocious and unprofessional behavior. In response to Whitney below, I don't usually write reviews, but my experience was so bad here I felt like I had to. I wrote this to inform other people about your studio, which is what the Yelp forum is for. Attacking my mental health because I write a review you do not like only reflects badly on you (ironic because one of the many benefits of a good yoga studio is promoting mental health, not stigmatizing it). Just for good measure (and so you can "look me up" in your system), I have attached the receipt for my ten class pass I purchased AND my class history. Perhaps you should check your records more carefully before throwing out accusations of defamation. I will not engage further as I have said what I wanted to say.

I went to the Hot buti Yoga and it was amazing!! The class was fun and hard! You sweat a lot!!! The music is vibrant, the instructor is very good and fun. I loved it, I died in this class and was reborn again.

This is a delayed review from my experience at Indigo, but it has been on mind recently. I remember the experience so clearly, and I felt it would be unfair to others for me to not share. I really wanted to love this studio because I had gone to a class here before an interview, and I've had really good vibes since then. One of my last times at Indigo, though, I went to a class taught by the owner. I'm a student, and on that particular day, I was pretty drained from a full day of classes, and I was looking forward to my yoga practice being a place where I get to take care of myself and get centered. I'll be honest, I was tired and I wasn't going full-out with the poses. I normally practice inversions, but on that particular day, I was just listening to my body and I was doing the modified versions instead of the inversions. Anyway, I don't remember how specifically the instructor phrased it, but she said that I was being "lazy." At that moment, I remember shutting down from the rest of the practice, and I knew I did not want to come back to the studio. She came up to me after the class to explain what she had meant by the word 'lazy.' I appreciate her coming up to me to explain, but I knew I would not continue my practice at Indigo. I hate to admit it, but I left my yoga practice feeling really crummy. That's not the kind of environment that I want to build my practice in. I didn't write a review right away because I wanted to give myself enough time to cool down from it, and write my review more objectively. I think I went to 1 more class at Indigo after that because I had a class card and hated to waste all the classes I paid for, but the studio never gave me a good feeling after that experience. Having practiced at many different studios, I've never had an experience like that one at Indigo. A yoga studio should not be the place where you get put down by someone else's judgements, especially from the instructor. It should be the place where you can listen to your body--even if that means you are not doing the most advanced poses with the most perfect form.

Wendy is an incredible yoga instructor, and is deeply attuned to the needs of her students. Her studio in Genoa City is truly a hidden gem, and an oasis of peace and nourishment for the soul.
