They enjoy the various mini themes that targeted different age groups. I thought it was clever because the evening was enjoyable for the entire family. My family booked a cabin. These are heated, have a comfy seating area, and a double kiddos bank bed.Outside the cabin, we had a fireplace and extra logs lasting us the entire evening with an additional teaser perk of s'more package. We had fun making them and wished they had more. While firing my marshmallow, a log fell on it, I couldn't salvage it being covered with residue and all.No outside food or drinks are allowed because they have a mock village market area that had a variety to offer from gifts, snacks, food, and drinks.

The employees were very accommodating. They saw my wife with her walker and gave my wife and I a shuttle ride on their UTV right down to the ticket station and afterward back to our car. We would have had to walk a very long distance close to half a mile. I don't think we could have walked that far it was muddy due to the weather most of the way. I can them enough. What a great bunch of people!

Fun, but expensive.Pros: beautiful lights.AMAZING & friendly staff. They go out of their way to help you and have a great experience.Closest thing to Christmas sledding we'll get this year!Cons: expensive (I understand they are a for-profit organization & have to pay staff, overhead costs & still make a profit, and don't fault them for it, but the bottom line is that it is expensive.)Long, hilly, uneven walk to & from the parking lot. (We took advantage of their ATV shuttle to get back to our car this year, because after a fun night of sledding & running around, there is no way my 5 year old would have made it back to the car without a giant meltdown)Muddy & bumpy parking lot (due to unseasonably warm weather)Overall, it is a fun place. Too expensive to make it a yearly tradition, but we'll go every few years.

This is the 3rd year we went to Sam's Christmas Village. They have so many lights and custom decorations it is hard to see them all. They also have a nice bar/restaurant where you can warm up, enjoy some food and drinks.

Such a great experience coming to this light show. Loved there were fire pits around the village to keep you warm and stands to purchase snacks and hot cocoa.

We love going to Sam’s. The gorgeous lights, the elf hunt (my eldest LOVES hunting for the elf), the reindeer, the bonfires, Santa, sledding hill, the couple cute shops. A light dusting of snow our most recent visit made for some pretty darn great photo opportunities! Our kids mostly loved running around with each other and sliding down the many small hills. One thing I will say is that it is pricy and the small little goodies … all of the light up necklaces, etc that we bought stopped working before we made it home. I would pass on those.

Dog friendly Christmas light walkthrough spot! Sam's Christmas Village is located 50 minutes from the cities. Parking is $10 cash and tickets are $20 per person. I enjoyed the amount of stuff there was to do between food, vendors, and snow tubing. The grounds are well kept and it's an awesome walkthrough experience. There is a lot for kids to do as well with Santa and other experiences. They have many private cabin rentals which were higher in price. A fun way to spend a holiday weekend.

I was blown away by how amazing of an experience Sam's Christmas Village was. We did the walk through, and it was fun being able to take pictures with the lights. There are an unbelievable amount of lights, photo opps, bonfires to warm up, some indoor spaces to warm up, merchandise and food vendors. Absolutely adorable. We got food from the bar and restaurant and it was fast and excellent quality- I got soup in a bread bowl. You get a ton for your money. Overall, this is the cutest date spot. Will absolutely be back

Our family visited Sam's Christmas Village last night, truly amazing!Fun for all, worth the investment and will definitely be back again in the future!Just would note it is a long walk from the parking area. There is utvs which will chauffeur people from the parking lot to the entrance. not sure how that all works and or what is involved to get that done but they do have the service for that. There is no rest stop or places to sit from the parking lot to the main entrance though.Lots of benches and places to sit and also warm up around the fire throughout the actual venue grounds.I'm not in the best shape but was very comfortable getting in and around the whole venue.

This place is magical ❤️ It was our first time here and we will definitely return next year. I love the little s'mores cabins you can rent . We had a couple Santa sightings. The weather was perfect and at the end you could view reindeer. There are so many photo opportunities with family and friends.

From Missouri. When we visit, love this experience. We have nothing like this in Missouri. I feel it's a tad pricey, but I also understand it takes alot to put it on. Thanks for the fire pits.>>Updated: still great as always. 3rd time coming up visit.

I love these Christmas lights!!! I'm so excited to come back for Christmas this year! In the Christmas village they have hot cocoa, hot apple cider, s'mores, and a few other snacks!! If you wanted to stay the night, they even have these cute little cabins to stay in. This is what anyone needs to get in the Christmas spirit!

Love! My family moved to Minnesota 4 years ago. We have made Sam’s Christmas village our family tradition! A few times during the holiday season and definitely every Christmas night! We are a family of 6 and the price doesn’t bother us. It’s definitely worth with it. Our kids eight, five, four and two just love it. The sledding and lights. Let’s not forget the hiding elf!I know Sam’s Christmas village isn’t even open at the moment but already looking to see when we can get tickets. Just thought this family owned business needed to know we love what they do and appreciate the fun it brings to our family!See you soon ?⛄️

Loved this place, it has become my favorite place to go see Christmas lights and to celebrate the Christmas season. My wife also proposed to me here two years ago, we can’t wait to come back this year!
