“Great mid sized local grocery store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of products and are convenient for Somerset residents. They can't compete on price with large stores like Cub, Walmart or Target.”
“The deli sandwiches were awesome. Make sure to check it out. And they had fresh made molasses cookies!!! While yoy are there hop over to the quick trail down to the waterfall. It is a beautiful and short walk.”
“This store is clean, well stocked, and has a little bit of everything! The owners & employees are all wonderful people! We are always greeted with a smile & have quick service! The pizza they make there is delicious and the prices on fuel & merchandise is very reasonable! Love this small town convenience store!”
“I love this store. Very clean and orderly. Lots of food options in a small space. Prices are low and quality is great! Checkout is easy if you’re okay it’s self checkout.”
“Stopped in today after bibging 2 seasons of “Mo” on Netflix. I am glad the show pushed me into this GEM of a resourse for stillwater.
I cant wait to explore more flavors ;)”
“River Market is my go to for just about everything. They have a phenomenal selection of natural healing products, I’ve been able to find so many ingredients I needed there that I can’t get at the big box grocery stores. Even the scent of the store is comforting when you walk in.”
“I grew up in New Richmond and have gone to this store through all its change of names and owners. I visit from out of state and my mother uses the store pharmacy. The store is clean and has always had a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, today an employee stationed at the self-checkout must have been having a bad day. I thought that the employee is not only there to make sure the customer doesn’t shoplift/fail to pay, but to provide FRIENDLY assistance to the shopper. That was not the case today. Commanding, displaying impatience was not helpful. As I said, he must of been having a bad day. Surely the employees are trained in appropriate customer assistance practices.”
“I wanna thank Walmart Employees.
I self checked out , forgot a bag of my items at the checkout. I went back with my reciept and the had it at the customer service dept. Matched reciepts and sent me on my way with my bag. Got home , realized I left my cell phone in the cart. Went back and Customer Service had it to. So Thank you whoever turned them in and Thanks Walmart for keeping them safe for me to pick up.”

“I am a valley local. (Bayport/Stillwater)
I purposely drive to this location to fill up/grab a soda/snack/lottery scratcher.
They are friendly, accommodating, and they still allow you to fill up, and then pay inside...
Allen (spelling? Sorry Allan?) Was particularly accommodating this morning. He was working alone, but went out of his way to help me when it was very necessary. This was appreciated!
I write these when things are wrong. I also try to recognize when things are correct. Noone/nothing is perfect, but these guys/gals, are trying. That's what really matters, in my opinion.
They will continue to receive my business, exclusively, in the valley, until others start to act this way again.”
“Many in town were concerned about Dollar General coming to town. For me, it is great! Keeps money in Somerset & gives jobs to local people. Thank you for coming to town!”
