We just moved from out of state and we're beyond impressed with Dr. Sue and her staff. Our 10 year old mixed breed Gracie can be a handful. She has been very anxious since our move. Dr. Sue quickly put Gracie at ease and then sat down to get to know us. She really took the time to listen and get to know us and our dog. They were patient and kind and we are so pleased and grateful to have found Tender Touch.

Description of complaint: Tender Touch would not respond to phone calls and visits regarding our dog's test results and need for more medication for his ears, a yeast issue in his ears. They said we would have to make another paid visit when all we needed was a refill of medication as the medication dropper had broken, and I couldn't complete the dose. After getting us to pay around $500 for our dog's irritated ear, including a recommended test, they wanted another visit and more money, even when we learned they did indeed have our test results confirming the medication was what was needed. We'd like a contact regarding why going through the $500 of charges we can't get medication for our dog out of it and the respect and courtesy of a call back and a refill. But maybe this is just usury for a business doing this to others.

They are always excited to see my kitten! Always friendly and answer all the questions I’ve asked. Their services are great. All the people there are wonderful.

Our dog Molly was a patient of Dr Sue Fluhr. I called their office last Thursday at about 10 AM, the voicemail message said they open at noon on Thursdays. I left a message that I needed to talk to them about euthanasia and cremation. I expected a call back that afternoon since their office opened at noon. It is now Monday at 3 PM and I never received a call back. This is very upsetting, because Dr Sue is Molly‘s regular vet. I did find another vet who was willing to take care of us, even though Molly was not their patient. Molly was given the compassionate, loving care she needed from a vet who wasn’t even her regular vet, while her own vet ignored our need. I have had problems getting callback from this office in the past, but thought it was just a fluke. I am convinced now that it is not a fluke that it is an ongoing issue with this office that culminated in the absolute worst care a pet/patient could get from their own vet in their hour of true need, at the end of life. Steer clear.

Molly was given the compassionate, loving care she needed by a vet who was not even her normal vet and our own vet ignored our need. I have had issues before getting a call back from this office but I thought it was a fluke. I am convinced now this is no fluke, but an ongoing issue with this office that culminated in the absolute worst treatment any animal could get from their vet at their moment of real need at the end of a dog's life. Steer Clear.

Dr. Sue and her staff are amazing! We have been going there for 10+ years and they all have been so helpful, supportive and wonderful! We wouldn’t take our pets anywhere else!

Extremely kind staff that treat your furry friends like family. I love that the staff explains everything so thoroughly so that I understand the medications or why my pet is acting a certain way.
