Answered all of my questions, timely turnaround of my issues, flexible with me on scheduling and offerings. They offered to do visual inspections on things to recommend whether a fix is needed. But, they take pictures and back up their story as to whether it's "something we need to monitor" or "you need to fix this now", and I never feel like they are trying to oversell me. I didn't buy my trailer from them, but they are my go-to for service.

From the first text message to driving out the driveway with our new RV Kunes and Nick were wonderful. Nick was so prompt in answering every question. They were open to our offer. They answered every question the day we picked up, showed us every detail of our coach. They did a great job of detailing, the coach while 4 years old and used was so clean, even smelled like new. We highly recommend Kunes Freedom RV. They all actually seem to love what they do.

Fall 2023. We came to have the 2010 Winnebago de-winterized which we'd done before. That went fine. We also had a question about a loose water heating covering under the RV near the rear axel. It was to be diagnosed for about $35. The young mechanic seemed to know nothing about it when he came to report there was nothing they could do; he hadn't even gotten under the RV to see what was there. So I suggested he look and he returned with a picture and sounded like he had no knowledge about what was actually there nor its function. I asked if there was anyone else who would know about it. He said no one there knew anything about older models.
I mentioned my dissatisfaction to Max when I paid my bill. He didn't reply anything to us. I do not think we should have been charged a diagnostic fee! We didn't leave very satisfied with Kunes this time.
Fall 2024. Yes, here again to have the RV winterized. Friendly, speedy service and received the $35 credit promised last fall. Wishing you all a safe and wonderful winter!

Amazing customer service. We were undecided on what unit would be best for us and our salesman (Jayden) continued to help us patiently till we found it! Highly recommend Kunes RV in Sterling.

I want to thank Kunes Freedom RV, specially Tom Shaw, for superb customer service. Like many people, I rented a RV for a family trip and made a mistake that created an issue onboard the RV. Tom took the time to research the issue, sent me some links to resolve the problem. When I got stuck, he sent me additional content to work through the issue. Tom, you saved our trip. Thank you so much!!

I had a tire blowout on a camping trip and brought my travel trailer to this dealer to get repaired. After suffering through the whole ordeal of the blowout, I called this dealer speaking to a service advisor named Tom Shaw. Tom stated they could perform all the work I needed done, so on July 1st, we brought it in. Tom insisted that he could have the repairs done before our camping season ended and all work would be performed. The dealer took their sweet time to get to the trailer for approximately two weeks. After they started on it, they got into a pissing match with the insurance adjusters and did not coordinate at all in communication or cooperation. I had to play referee between the two with multiple phone calls, emails, and texts when they could have done this themselves! Literally spent about 20 hours plus getting the two of them to get any work done! Tom hung up the phone on me numerous times when I tried to get answers on the remaining issues! Tom needs to be fired! Clearly cannot handle customers! The icing on this was when Tom refused to find a tire rim from a different model year that I needed for my camper! He stated the manufacturer stopped making it. Ok, then find another year where the rim is made and get it put on! This is the very epitome of laziness! I had to hire a mobile tire service to go out and put one on! I can guarantee you that if they had to service their own trailers, they would have made it happen! After all this, my camping season was shot, and I went to pick up the trailer on August 28th, and Tom would not even go through the repairs they performed. Tom, you're a Class A jerk and need to find another profession! In the words of the insurance adjuster, do not take your business to "Crooked" Kunes for repair, insurance work, or to get an rv!!!! This dealer is the very definition of one star service!!!! Oh, Tom, your shenanigans are being reported to the BBB and the State of Wisconsin Dept of Consumer Protection. Tom, to the next customer, do not over promise what you really feel like doing!

Just bought our first camper with Kunes Freedom RV. The entire experience was fantastic! All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Answered all of our questions completely. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get into the RV world.
