I've been with Associated for over 10yrs and have never received such poor customer service. I filed a fraud dispute and the manager informed me that I'd receive a credit to my account in 3 Business Days. It's now been 12 Business Days and I cannot receive a status update. Ive been passed off and have not received a resolution. Once I receive my refund I will be pulling all of money out.

We had done business with Associated for almost thirty years--mortgage, checking and savings. Recently our home sustained extensive damage from a hail storm. Our insurance company issued a check to us, as well as Associated Bank as the mortgage holder. We were required to submit lien waivers from our contractor before the check could be processed. We did so, and met with a customer service rep to ensure we had everything in order. She assured us we did, and submitted everything to their claims department on our behalf. A week later, we received a certified letter notifying us that we needed to submit additional information from our contractor. We followed up, providing more detailed information. Several days later, we were informed we needed to submit a lien waiver from another party. The "party" they named was actually physical components of the roof that our contractor had listed on his quote. (Perhaps the claims department needs further education about matters they are processing). By then, we were frustated. Our roof was nearly completed, yet the funds were still not available because Associated had not endorsed our insurance check. We ended up going to our credit union and financed the balance of our Associated mortgage. We will also be closing our savings and checking accounts.

The staff have always been really nice, they know you by name after a while. They know what they're talking about and are more than happy to help. They always follow protocol to keep your information safe. I highly recommend.
