This store used to be my favorite grocery store. Then they got self-checkout. I literally had just stopped there today to get a dozen hard rolls. The line for all checkouts including the self checkout was so immense that after almost 30 minutes of just standing in line I left. Your employees are directing folks with full carts into self checkout. this causes an extreme bottleneck and lines that are so long that customers who are still shopping now have to somehow get through this line of people just to finish their shopping. I talked to the workers, this is coming from the management in the store, apparently they are incompetent fools. if you are management reading this you should feel embarrassed and ashamed at how your store is running when I know high schoolers that could do a better job than you. Now, this isn't the first time, I've brought this up to management in the past, I've had friends bring this up and I've seen other customers bring this up. This store refuses to do anything about it. listen, since you guys are absolute idiots I'm going to break this down for you You need to have a limit of the number of items that you can check out in self checkout. the larger full carts need to go to regular checkout. This is not a very hard concept. I don't want to hear how you have a lack of workers when I saw at least six associates stocking. obviously you need to have stocking done too but don't give me that crap that you don't have enough workers, both my high school kids applied by you and they never heard back. So, if you're hurting for employees that's on you because people are applying... you are just not hiring. Don't use the pandemic as an excuse, don't use lack of workers as an excuse, this is purely and very quite clearly a management issue. whoever's the head manager of that store should be given the option of resigning or being on us, we need to not do it. if nobody does it they won't have it. You simply don't want to pay to have cashiers, that's the bottom line. It has absolutely nothing to do with not having enough employees but everything to do with you not wanting to pay them.
