I love the small town feel of this credit union! Everyone knows you and is always very helpful! Too many other banking options are so commercial and cold- I like that I am trusting my money with "friends" and can come to them for help if ever necessary and they will give me honest answers.

They would not let me deposit a cashiers check, with out having a 2 week hold on it. Also if you are a new member you have a 90 day probation period where you are not able to use their mobile deposit and they will not tell you till you call and ask. And if you are trying to add a significant other to your account that also banks there it will take 1-2 hours for them to be able to do that.

Giving 1 Star because I have to, not because they deserve it ! The most unfriendly Credit Union around! Needed change for a $100 bill, but because we're not a member they refused to do it! I'll stick with my Kohler Credit Union, which BTW was a couple miles away.

Between having our debit card number stolen, which they knew about but didn’t contact us and still hearing other people in the drive through still having this happen. And having to wait in the drive through for 30minutes to pull out your own money. And having the lobby closed for months it’s almost like they don’t want you to be their member. On top of the policy for cashing checks and having to wait 5 days for the money. Also the mortgage department made it seems as if the appraisal on our house wouldn’t come back for what I was looking to borrow. So when we went to Oostburg state bank and the appraisal came back at way over what we thought we knew it was time to change “credit unions”. Can’t wait to close our accounts at meadowland and transfer everything over. So sick of this place.

Have had an account for about 30 years. Sold a car and went to pay off the loan with a personal check from another local bank, couldn't get the title that day. Closed my account and paid in cash to get my title so the sale would go through. Not real happy about the situation as the check was good, all they had to do was call the other bank but instead losing a customer...
