We stayed here for a family wedding in June 2024. We chose it for the price and location, and the pool. My kids loved the pool and atrium. It had a great space to hang out, eat together, and swim. The rooms were fine, nothing special, but they were clean. Great service! Note that there’s no breakfast, so plan for that!

I have been coming here since 2016 every year about twice a month. From May to October. It is my favorite hotel. It's super clean super friendly. They try to help in any way possible. Here you will feel welcome like at home. You will feel safe. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Shawano!!!
Rooms: Supers are big and very well taken care.. they are super clean

Flee market
Boating and fishing
Cool stores
Safety: Safety. Let's put it this way.... if I lived here I wouldn't freak out if I forgot to lock my front door
Walkability: Walkable yes but better to have a car just saying.
Food & drinks: Food is awesome and fresh. Drinks are made the right way

This place was a comfortable place to stay the night. Front desk person was very accommodating. Bed was really comfy and it was very quiet. Just lovely. We also had an amazing authentic Mexican dinner at El Jeffe, the adjoining restaurant. Delicious! Would stay here again. The only thing I might suggest is more thorough vacuuming around the edges and behind the night tables. But all in all, a very nice spot.

it's been such a nice experience until saturday night, 4/13-4/14/24 we were in need of supplies and called the front desk multiple times until they finally answered, and we informed them our needs and that also the bar staff waved us off and yelled at us when we were asking a simple question. super rude and for the price we paid for our stay, you would think they would provide good service. the front desk worker's attitude wasn't any better. loved the place till the disappointing experience.
Rooms: rooms were nice.

Rooms: While the rooms were nicely decorated, mine did not have heat. Also my door was off kilter so that I had to pull the door up in order to get it to lock. Desk clerk was very friendly, she got confused with the room assignment - we had four rooms. People checking in after us were getting annoyed at having to wat so long.

The atrium was very nice. The hot tub was taken over by a group of people, but it was nice to see a place that allows food and drinks in the pool area. The rooms have nice furniture, but the rooms are aged. We had mattresses sitting outside our room, and the floor below us had a refrigerator sitting outside of a room. The strangest thing was the microwave on each stair landing instead of having one in each room. The restaurant and hotel are not affiliated, so there isn't breakfast offered. Farm Inn has an amazing breakfast, so that wasn't a problem. We just needed a place to sleep after visiting with family.

Normally have a great experience there. Today we went to do open swim like we normally do. This time the receptionist, Kathy was very rude. Immediately after asking about open swim she said “If people were smart they would call ahead to see if we would even allow it” with an attitude. We have been going there for open swim for a couple years now and apparently we are now stupid for not calling ahead. Awful customer service from Kathy! Everyone else there is usually really kind.

Rooms were somewhat clean, building is older and in need of upgrades. Pool and hot tub were good but had gobs of hair floating.. Overall it was what I expected for the price..
