We live in a small community. Pick n Save fits in nicely for us. Being less than a mile off interstate 29, makes it handy.

The Weston location smells!!! As soon as you walk in from any entrance. It smells like rotten seafood. Very off-putting. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, but every time I go in all I can smell is rotten shrimp. Also the register area is very congested. People have to stand in the isles to wait to check out. Push the stuff back.

I've been shopping at the Weston location for years. It's close to home and typically has everything I need. It's biggest selling point is that it's not Walmart. Like most stores it has suffered to have proper staffing since covid. I always see the same hard working ( primarily older) individuals, overwhelmed at the cash registers, often without the aid of baggers. The self check outs, although plenty, are limited to 28 items. Even if there weren't item limits, they are not set up for more items. I have experienced that if I go on the weekend, often the produce department is empty. I literally mean large amounts of items not stocked. It would seem to me management would schedule produce deliveries, and restocking at a better time. As for the smell in the meat department. Some days are worse that others. The combination of seafood and disinfectants can be overwhelming. It does bring to mind the aroma of a morgue. Onto the general clutter in the isles. Maneuvering a cart around the many displays of useless junk blocking the isles, along with the abandoned ladders, and food pallets, all along trying not to hit other shoppers is an obstacle within itself. When the lines for the check outs are backed up down the isles, nobody wants to try to get around giant square bins of energy drinks and Twizzlers. Perhaps pay the employees living wages and benefits, so you wouldn't be so short staffed. As for your woman's bathroom, the small stall door opens to the inside towards the toilet. What genius installed that? I am of average size, and I have to half climb over the toilet before shutting the door. Woman in the bathroom ALL complain about this. Once in passing I was talking with the manager while he worked in the deli, and I brought it up. He responded by saying how he hears that complaint all the time. Hey A$$hole, fix it. It's not rocket science. Now, the needle that broke this camels back. The paper bags. First they stopped using paper bags with handles. I'm guessing this saved the company a fraction of a cent, not to which benefitted the customers or the employees. Now, the brain trust decided it would be cute to shrink the size of the bags as well. Hello, a box of cereal is bigger than the bag. I spend an average of $200 a week on groceries. Instead of making four trips to the car to bring everything in, now I make eight. These mini bags, with no handles, are also thinner. Condensation from frozen foods cause the bags to rip. If there was a Darwin Award for store management, this location would win the prize.

750 am on a Saturday. No registers open.Self checkout had a line 10 people deep. I'll drive cross town to a different non Kroger grocery. Nothing they have here is worth standing in that long a line to check myself out!

The last two times I have bought meat from here I have opened the package to find it browned and rotten smelling. One a chuck roast and the second ground beef. I have seen bad reviews in the past of them changing the dates on meat so im not sure if it’s date changing or they don’t properly store the meat. Avoid the meat here and check the expiration date on all other groceries

Of the 3 Pick and Saves in the area this is by far the best. It's clean and organized with a comfortable layout.I love the addition of Starbucks near the registers. The deli and ready to go meals area offer many of the better choices of all the local grocers. The pricing is only competitive with sale items. , to buy anything at regular prices is no cheaper than anybody else.

I was hoping to get my shopping in after visiting my mom at Rennes . I know from the past that after 9 pm you have to use the self checkouts, and I hate using them… today it was earlier than that. I don’t know how to use them correctly apparently cause one of the 3 employees standing and giggling with each other would have to scan his card and back to the circle he went. I am very slow at this and he had to scan his card 3 times. It took me well over 20 minutes to complete…. With a line of folks behind me waiting.Do you know how many people could have been checked out , had their groceries bagged, and out the door … if only they would have utilized these 3 employees on two registers???I am happy in a way, cause I doubled bagged a lot of things …and frozen items are not put in with a loaf of bread and a can of veggies.I had a big cart of groceries and was having a difficult time with a bad back and trying to find a place to put the scanned items… one day I might learn the art of self check out…and they are most likely good for folks with a few items… but for now I will cuss out loud. ?

What is the awful smell upon walking into the store? The smell of urine permeated straight thru to the produce dept. The meat department stinks as well. I understand that is because of i appropriate cleaning methods. Funny, short drive to the PNS in Kronenwetter where it doesn’t smell at all. Please fix this!!!

I have done business here for years, and while I wouldn't call prices/quality/service here great I also never felt the need to complain.Yesterday I purchased a cured salami on discount for around $8, brought it to work expecting to eat it, upon opening it see that it's got slimy spots and was so dried out that I had to push down on my knife with my entire body weight (200+ lbs) to cut off a slice, did a bite test and it was like biting wood. No big deal, will bring it back the following day as I have the receipt.I get told at the customer service desk that they don't usually do returns on their reduced price goods, that they're "as is". As I had the receipt, AND I actually brought the product back with me so they could see it should they so choose, I tell them that if they're not willing to at least look at it or refund my money after selling me food that is literally not edible that we're going to have a problem. She begrudgingly refunds my money onto my card. I also asked if this rule about no returns on discounted items they sell is written down anywhere, the lady I spoke to says she doesn't know but that it's their policy. Now I understand that products get out on discount for a variety of reasons (close to expiration/scratch and dent), I get that. But how can you sell a food item that is literally inedible, get provided the item back so that they can see it, and still get a hard time about a return? Poor customer service, do better Pick N Save.

Why did this store smell like someone pooped their paints today? Well I asked an employee and they said it was a cleaning machine. Gross!!! Smells like a biohazard.
