This was my first time going to Jays Auto and they did an amazing job. They were professional about everything, kept me up to date with photos, and never pressured me to have something fixed. They were able to get everything done quickly and I haven’t had problems since. Highly recommend.

My son was given a pickup truck by his deadbeat dad, so we took it to Jay's for an overall evaluation. When it was returned with a clean bill of health, it started leaking on the driveway; it had not done this for teh months we had it prior to Jay's. Within 2 weeks the transmission dropped out of the undercarriage, and stranded him in busy traffic. HMMM- will never go to this shop because it seemed like sabotage.

Took my Ford Taurus there initially there because my Temperature light kept going to Hot, and I had to keeping on adding fluid to the tank, because it kept going empty. Well, after doing an engine diagnostics test (which they charged me over $100 for), they figured out that I had a leaking radiator hose. So they repaired that (at least another $200). BUT the temperature gauge light continued to turn Hot, even though I wasn't leaking any more fluid from the radiator. Took it back, and they did ANOTHER diagnostics test (which they AGAIN charged me for!) which showed nothing wrong! When I mentioned to them that the gauge itself may be malfunctioning, they admitted that may be the case. Later on, the car refused to start, and I had it towed to Jay's. After ANOTHER diagnostics test, they called to tell me that the ignition coil was bad, and that the cost for repairing that would be around $500. I told them to go ahead and put in a new ignition coil, but that I couldn't pick up the car for a few weeks, because I didn't have the money right away to pay them. They told me that when I had the money to pay their bill, that I then could come and pick up my car, which was parked in their parking lot. Well, after a few weeks I went and paid for my car and got it back. After having it for about a week, I took it to another garage to have the plugs changed (Jay's had told me that I needed new plug wires, as well as plugs). The car stopped running on the way to the other garage, so I had to have it towed to the other garage. They told me that I had a bad ignition coil (that's why the car stopped running on the road). This garage also told me that my plug wires were fine. When I told them that Jay's had just replaced the ignition coil, they called Jay's to find out if the ignition coil was still under warranty. Jay's told them it was, so the garage did not charge me for the replacement coil. BUT they could not get the car to run again. They told me that I probably had a cracked engine block, due to the car continually overheating. I wound up junking the car. When I called Jay's to tell them I wanted most of my money back from them, I was told that Jay would call me to talk with me about this, WHICH he never did! I think they knew more about the true condition of the car's engine than they were telling me. Any decent mechanic should be able to determine an engine's problems by listening to it run, or looking at the engine/hoses/pipes, without doing a computer diagnostics test! I will not be going back to Jay's for anything.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! We had our son's car taken there for an oil change and they managed to butcher it to the point that the engine ceased. The owner Jay will not take responsibility, avoids phone calls, lies, says that someone else changed the oil or the oil filter wasn't even the type he used. He presents as a very nice soft spoken person in the beginning, but beware! This place is not where you should take your car for a simple repair or even oil change! COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!

He presents as a very nice soft spoken person in the beginning, but beware! This place is not where you should take your car for a simple repair or even oil change! COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!

5 star service all of the way! Friendly, thorough and they take the time to really explain what is going on. Had my 4Runner in for an oil change and had an inspection done at same time. Report from the inspection was super-detailed and the guys made it easy for me to make a decision on what to get taken care of and what could wait a little longer. Exceptional service and can't thank them enough.

The thing I like most about Jay's is the thorough printed diagnostic I received informing me about the issues with my car that were rated on importance. It's very informative and gives you piece of mind that my car is in the best hands possible in central Wisconsin.

Complete gross neglect of a proper diagnosis of my cars issue. Two thousand dollars later, my car had the same issues. If your looking for hillbilly service with dealership prices youre at the right shop. I would steer VERY clear of this place!

My experience with Jay's has been top notch. Not only did they work with us on repairs to find the most efficient way to do it, but they also have competitive pricing as far as I am concerned. And they have the most thorough inspection I have ever seen in the business. It really gave us the confidence when it came to knowing what needed to be done on our truck and with what priority.

These guys are awesome!!!! I would highly recommend them to everyone!!! We own a Mercedes Benz ML 350 and the dealership is to far !! We are So glad that We found Jays auto repair!!! I was headed out of town and just made it to there shop before I broke down!!They fit me in gave me a estimate and fixed it fast !!! They did a fantastic job and a far price !! I will definitely bring my vehicle here from now on !!!! And tell all my friends!! If you have a domestic or more importantly import car or SUV this is the shop !! Thanks so much guys !!
