Called to make an appointment to open a checking account. Next appointment available is six days out. Every other bank in town is open. You would think they would want your money. Only doing this for the $500 bonus. I can already tell I’m not going to want to do business with this outfit long term.

One of the worst banks I've had the displeasure of doing business with. Bank manager is a joke who finds it necessary to tell you what you should and shouldn't do with your money not once but twice. If I wanted your advice I would've asked for it. Instead of offering sound advice of how to go around a wire "cashiers check"offers nothing which ultimately decided in me closing my account after only being a customer for a week.. Bank manager proceeded to give me a cashiers check instead of cash and when questioned "we only do that for active customers" disgusting attitude to say the least and acts as if you the customer are expendable. Wire transfers on hold for 90 days if you have a new account? Whats the purpose of banking with you then? Will never do business with these tools again. You can tell from other reviews that this is a trend of poor customer relations. Better fix before you fall under..

Not happy! My bank was bought out by Associated Bank and soon discovered they had terrible customer service. The branch manager was the worst! He was rude and condescending. After that, I closed account and will not recommend their services to anyone.

Our mortgage has been paid on time every month for over 18 yrs. I got a report from my credit monitoring service that my credit score changed. It dropped almost 160 points. Associated reported we had a late payment. The payment was made on time. Called the bank and they said my homeowner's insurance escrow went up $53. Therefore my on time payment was $53 short. We received no notification of this until my credit score dropped because they reported it as a late payment. I saw my insurance agent and he said my premium actually dropped. Almost by half. Called the bank again and asked for a copy of the statement from the insurance company raising my premium. They said they had no paperwork on it . Funny thing is, less than a week later, I received a check from Associated for escrow overpayment in the sum of $921.77 because my insurance dropped.. So they destroyed my credit rating for a bogus escrow increase that they can't document, were rude and unprofessional over the phone, and sent me an escrow refund check, but absolutely refuse to clear up my credit rating. I'm still trying to restore my credit because of these crooks.
