“So while renting an VRBO on the south side of Milwaukee, We had limited selection within a close walking distance of places to acquire supplies. We came upon by chance the El Rey plaza.... This was a sleeper find. While it has many ethnic Mexican and south American foods....the deals are fantastic. The store is immaculately clean and the staff was helpful! The bakery is amazing with plenty of treats to entice you. There's even a small diner type area that prepares authentic Mexican foods. We would totally go back! Thanks for the yummy Churros and other bakery treats!”

There was fresh fruit and veggies, a meat counter, and a hot food area. There was even a chamoy place in the front. The place was very clean and not congested like other grocers. The people ahead had some kind of dispute when an employee in Muslim clothing came and explained things to the people's satisfaction. She then went to the next register and waited on me. What a pleasant demeanor! I generally have good luck coming here as the employees are friendly and courteous though I usually come in the morning. I'm glad to have come that evening just to see a great display of professionalism and courtesy.”
