Had one of our drywall trucks show up to get unloaded and was let into the yard. The yard manager and forklift operator wanted to leave the truck till morning to unload saying 2 hours wasn’t enough time and said to the driver “I want to get home, drink a beer, and sit on the dock, I’m not unloading you tonight by myself” told the driver to leave the yard and wait till morning. Driver reported all levels of employees from store manager to forklift operator completely unprofessional and rude. We deliver to Menards all over Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin never had a truck turned away 2 hours before closing, even with 1 forklift operator on duty. We know one store doesn’t reflect all as we love our regular stores but this is clearly under poor management

Erik front end manager takes a solution and creates more problems. Had multiple interactions with Erik and every one is an unnecessary conflict. We build new construction and do big numbers with memards Erik is the worst employee ive encountered in 10 years.

Your associate who was exchanging lp tanks was rude and disrespectful! This was on 6-2-24. I was a senior manager for many years before retiring. I would have fired this person on the spot if he had worked for me! Horrible customer service!

New carts are trash. Too big especially when got the slow gawkers in the way can't get around so go to the next aisle and same problem. Menards went with bigger carts so customers impulse buy because the cart has more room rather than keeping it convenient with standard carts.

Customer service was fine as expected.But the bathrooms are disgusting! Especially the "family restroom" where most people go to change their babies-so filthy! There's way too many workers sitting/standing around for those bathrooms not to be cleaned throughout the day!!

Very rude rental blower experience. Employee told me I better find someone to come with me to unload it when I return. Very rudely!! Blower only blew about 9 bags per hour on average and was getting slower. 140 bags 16 hours. Mentioned on drop off and employee said the few pieces of plastic on tines slowed it down. Experience was exhausting I blew in less material just to get the job done.. returned 18 bags. Very minimal time plastic and from the cellulose material in the bag, not the wrapper bag. Employee is a real charmer. Also charged cleaning fee for handful of material in bottom of hopper. Lol what ever... Terrible experience with bad rental equipment... I've spent tens of thousands on materials and tools at this place, but big warning stay away from there rental department. There rude and don't stand behind there very old not running good blowers.

I purchased a medicine cabinet out of their general stock area. I loaded it on a cart and paid for it. $250. When I opened it the mirror wasn’t just broken, the glass wasn’t even in the box. They knew it was broken and sold it anyhow. When I tried to return it a little red label on the back side of the box said Rays Deals. In little teeny tiny lettering it says all sales final. The manager got down on his knees and squinted to read it. Knowing full well it was damaged they sold it anyhow. Boxed up like it was new with a hidden sticker they put this item back into stock. I have seen some fraudulent actions by companies but this was espresso egregious. There aren’t many home improvement stores so buyer beware. On high value items at Menards, look for hidden stickers. They will not make this right, they don’t care. In fact this was done intentionally.
