Prepared and sold by Katie, Jeff and their staff, with the small-town courtesy, service, commitment to quality, and integrity that is simply nearly impossible find nowadays. I've been living in South Dakota for many years now but grew up in St. Cloud, and a visit to Salchert's is ALWAYS a highpoint on the itinerary during our trips home.

Besides their own meats, sausages, etc., they also carry a variety of other local/Wisconsin products such as spices, maple syrup, drink mixes, cheeses, etc., all at very reasonable prices. It's well worth the trip to St. Cloud.

Salcherts meat unbelievably excellent! My advise for someone who hasn't tried their meat, is to stop by and get some steak burgers! Awesome little shop, prices are great and service is outstanding!
