I'm very pleased with planet fitness in Rothschild Wisconsin. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they keep the facility very clean and new looking. The locker room is spotless every time I've been there. Also this facility is huge compared to others that I've been to. Highly recommend checking out the Rothschild Wisconsin Planet Fitness Center. The atmosphere is also very positive. There's something different in that Planet Fitness Center that I've not felt at other Planet Fitness Centers throughout the country. Very nice place.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Planet Fitness in Rothschild, Wisconsin branch. This is a formal complaint about the fees I have been charged for the past 5 months, yet my son was not granted access to the facilities at Planet Fitness. My son has been a member since 2018. During those years, my son was not and is not a very frequent gym goer however he never minded paying the membership due to attendance. That is why I continued paying so he could access the gym whenever he had time. At the end of Oct 2023, I went to PF per their request to claim responsibility for my son's membership so they could get my card info, etc. I wanted to pay for my son's gym membership as his birthday plus Xmas gifts moving forward. They took my bank card # and Planet Fitness had my son's card info as he was already a member. PF had access to both cards.Since Nov 20, 2023, I have been paying the monthly membership fee of $23.04 until July 2024 without interruptions. In July, Planet Fitness withdrew 2 payments, one for $39.00?? and another $23.04 on July 1 -monthly fee. From March 2024 until now, however, my son has faced some issues: My son has been denied access to the gym several times despite having a valid membership. According to them, for nonpayment but no one explained in-depth to my son. He found out about his expired card when he spoke to the club manager on July 18. Back in March, my son told me that he was not allowed to work out because the payment did not go through. I told him that it was impossible that my account had funds and I checked. I showed him the withdrawal charges. He stopped again and they did not help him. A PT employee told him he needed to talk to the manager. He explained to them that my account had been changed successfully and that his membership was current, still, he was not allowed and had to face the embarrassment associated with that. He has two jobs so finding time that coincided with the manager was tricky. Time went on and finally, on July 18 he found the manager and tried to resolve the problem. On July 18, my son had a conversation with the club manager. She spent a significant amount of time discussing the agreement papers that he had signed back in 2018. The agreement back in 2018 did not specify needing two cards on file to use the facilities. The new ones addressed the proper billing procedures, including the requirement to have two cards on file. However, the manager mentioned and noticed that the agreement he signed was not the most current one. Then she told him that certain phrases from the policies still allowed her to deny him access to the facilities due to the absence of two working cards on file. After further discussion, my son decided to cancel his membership. The club manager then offered him the option to continue using the facilities for the remaining part of July. However, I had already made that payment as of July 18 and it was already halfway through the month. The manager also mentioned that if my son chose to continue, she would waive the start-up fee. It's worth noting that I was charged twice in July - once on July 2 for $39.00 (yearly membership) and again on July 18 for $23.04. These were the fees that the club manager had mentioned she would waive. When my son met with the manager, she did not take responsibility for the miscommunication. She put the whole responsibility on us. The other employees just kept telling him for non-payment. The manager was the only one mentioning that it was because they needed an extra card on file. We had two cards on file and my son did not know the other card they had in file expired. This whole time Planet Fitness received and continued to take their fees uninterruptedly from my account.HOW??? can someone pay monthly but not be allowed to work out just because one method of payment is in a file instead of two? The card they had on file worked every time. All they needed to tell him was to bring another card. He found out 5 months later the actual reason why he was not allowed in and the reason is totally bogus.

So I lived in Los Angeles, hollywod' Denver, and the last 12 years in Las Vegas. Now I understand that this isn't an area like that at all. But what I do realize is that most people work Monday through Friday and they have their weekends off. So for the life of me I cannot understand why a gym in Wisconsin would close at 7:00 p.m. on a saturday. When for the rest of the week you're open 24 hours a day and everywhere else in the nation Planet Fitness is open 24 hours a day and they sure the hell don't close early on a weekend.
