Chase Outdoors was recommended to me by another reputable Wausau area business when I inquired about the best place to buy archery equipment. I was not disappointed!I stopped once as a general scouting mission to see if I liked the vibe and to see how they treated customers. The team members there were friendly and attentive.Two days later I drove back down to buy a bow. (They had an awesome deal running on the Hoyt RX-7)The owner, Justin, helped me get completely set up. It had been about 15 years since my last bow purchase, and he was patient and extremely knowledgeable, as he went step by step through the whole process.Chase is a bit of a drive for me but totally worth it. The big box stores have lost the personal touch. Chase Outdoors has it in spades.Highly recommended!

I've been inside the store a couple times before, and each experience gets better and better. It's hard to rate above five stars, cuz it's not allowed by Google. But if I could add a star after every visit, it would have been well deserved.The store was a little busier than my previous visits. But Matthew, Jeremy and Tom still found the time to find me everything I was looking for - all while multitasking and an answering other customers questions simultaneously. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions, even if it seems a little silly. They've got the answer with no hesitation..The shop is fully stocked with premium goods and premium service at a fair price. I can't imagine there's anything they don't have in there! If I want it, they've probably got it, or will place a special order. You won't be disappointed.

I recently purchased a firearm from Chase Outdoors. I saw the same desired firearm in a big box retailer at the same price, but felt the need to support local. Turned out to be a great decision! The service was excellent and I will definitely be shopping here again!

You want a bow tuned, don't use them. Have no idea what they are doing. all I wanted was a string, and oh my lord.....3 bow shops later and I found the shop. All he asked was for who messed this bow up so f***ing bad. Well chase outdoors I said. Enough said, was is response. If you are an avid hunter, run.

I used to love shopping at this place cause I would get a bunch of great deals, But! It seems like some of the newer employees don't care recently went in their to buy a Glock 20 and I asked one of the guys if they would price match Cabelas and he wouldn't when all the other times before it was never an issue to price match somwhere that wasn't a online store but some odd reason that Specific guy wanted to be a A-Hole about it.

They're always out of stock for anything I asked for. Most recently I called about an AR12 and AR chambered in 762 - out of stock "but we can order it!" Also not 1 AR upper in stock that I asked for, not a single AR mag I wanted, went in to buy the holosight they have been telling me about for MONTHS - out of stock, no AR12s,And their prices are always high and the shipping takes over a month....

I went to chase to see if I can find a scope base for my muzzleloader.The clerk went through every single base to physically check to see if it would fit my gun.You don't get service like that everywhere.

I have been a patron of this store since they had the little shop on Brown Blv in Rothschild. I had been shopping around for a new bow and figured I'd see what they had to offer. I met the owner for the first time whilst looking for a new bow. He was insightful and well versed in all of his products we had discussed. After shooting a few bows I decided on one Justin recommended for my budget and hunting style. Since then I don't let any other shop touch my bow. Justin has put together an amazing professional team that is always willing to help you. If that staff member isn't sure on advice to give you they don't BS you they get a staff member who has more knowledge on the subject. Chase Outdoors puts the big chain stores to shame.
