Place is literally falling apart. Should be condemned. Drunks knocking on the door at 2 am.

went downhill from the start. Got a nail in my foot stepping out of the car, in a handicapped space no less! When we told the check-in about it they said the trucks use that area to load/unload materials. Make-shift reception area, under construction. Once we checked in and couldn't access our room with the code they gave us(they claimed we didn't input the code correctly. really??? I tried 5 times and think my PhD brain can read numbers) room with no view. next, we decided to go to the hot tub and stopped to ask for directions to get there, we could see it but there was no easy access, we were asked for our ID. ID??? to go to the pool??? took about 20 minutes to find our way to the single access door to the pool area and found it void of pool towels and void of any phone to call to request any. One of the other guest gave us a couple towels they had. We returned to reception to get our ID back and found it laying on the table where anyone could take it(there were other people in the pool). The room seemed stuffy but we didn't realize that the ac was not functioning until I woke up sweating at 2:30am. Slept without even a sheet it was that warm. People came in, tried to adjust, said it was broken and sent maintenance who managed to fix it in time for us to leave. Breakfast is a joke, one bagel, 5 donuts some hb-eggs and yogurt. At least we had juice. Tried the hot tub in the morning, remembering to bring the cell phone in case there were no towels again (there weren't any), at least the ID was stored behind the reception table this time. Decided I should file an incident report about the nail just in case I did break skin with the rusty nail and they, of course, had none. Had me write down my name and email and said they would contact me. We stayed Friday the 18th, it is now the 29th, nary an email. won't be back

I rather give them no stars. EVERYONE there does drugs. The lady manager is just dumb heavy like rocks. Her lying dumb bf "maintenance but don't do a damn thing" allow tenants to use drugs but secretly behind his gf back yet when confronted his tail between his legs lying bout to get caught. Thru evict you on false reasons and only wants you money. Everyone is in someone's business and snitching and defaming character. I wouldn't go back if that was the ONLY place of shelter during a tornado. Dont believe me go see for yourself.Rooms: Disgusting and never cleaned by housekeeping/management.Safety: Too much traffic and drugs around. Management lack in safetyFood & drinks: At the barNoteworthy details: If you like being in jail well this is the perfect place for you to go to. Their rule sheet is filled with strict abuse of authority and petty requirements.

we booked really early but still go a handy cape room. we did not pay for that but was told that was all they had. Even we booked way in advance. had a centennial breakfast but down side they allowed pets. One guest fed his dog from the table a piece if meat. that was it for us. other wise clean room.

Not worth the cheap price. Our sink drain wouldn’t go down and the teenager sports team next door were loud all night and in the morning. They should have known they were placing us next to a sports team.

This is an old water park hotel- Kind of Great Wolf Lodge vibes- only they must not have been able to afford to keep the water park open. All the slides are closed off. There are other parts of the hotel that are boarded up as well. The breakfast is cereal, hard boiled eggs, mini muffins and coffee. But no where to eat it unless you go back to your room. Nice rooms, clean and friendly staff. But not worth the price at all.

Enjoy no frills when you lodge with bantr. Formerly a mid-sized waterpark full of family fun is now just a run down, deteriating property. The room was clean and thats why this is 2 stars and not one. We stayed with 3 other families who had rooms scattered throughout the hotel. Arrival- We stayed in room 28 which was a 'suite' with 2 FULL beds and 1 full pullout. We had 4 of us in the room for a ski trip to Granite Peak which was great. We checked in and payed a rate of ~$300/night (Fri and Sat night) which was way more than what this place is worth. The front desk didn't give us any help to tell us where our room was, so when we tried looking for our room we were looking for 128 at first which was same floor as lobby. Apparently room 28 is below the lobby at floor '0', which makes no sense. Once we got to our room it was fine for a ski resort. We aren't usually picky on our ski resorts we stay at so this was fine. The weight room was fantastic. Almost better than the actual private gym I am a part of. The dumbells had a huge assortment which is unheard of at any other hotel I have been to. During Stay- We got in on a Friday night, ate at nearby restauraunt, and then went to pool area. The pool area and lobby are by far the most memorable parts of this hotel. You can tell that at one point, this place was awesome, but now is not as cool. The pool is normal for hotel, but hot tub is crazy. The craziest part about the pool and hot tub is that they used to be a part of the waterpark which is closed, so you enter into the old waterpark, which is boarded off with drywall, and are just allowed to use the pool and hot tub. The waterpark would have been awesome, but is not in operation. bantr- why keep all of these huge slides and equipment in there to deteriate when you could sell it and not have it go to waste? The lobby is also crazy, since it is huge but empty. Don't even bother with the breakfast, it is just packaged bread. We went to the Denny's next door instead. AT night- Beds were horrible. I slept with my daughter who is 4 years old and both of us could barely fit on the bed. Thats how small it is. They have the space for two queens, why not use the space? Shower was fine, but bathroom was very small. It was nice that they had two sinks in the room. What bantr needs- It is clear that the owner(s) of the hotel have a strong vision for this property. It appears that they are in the renovation phase of the hotel. However, guests shouldn't be staying in this hotel at it's current state, and we shouldn't have had to pay ~$700 for a normal room. The pictures looked awesome and that is why we chose this instead of a Holiday Inn or similar. bantr clearly wants this place to be a nice place, shown by the high end weight room that they put in. However, as someone who has owned and developed dozens of hotels, the first impression is everything, and the bare drywall in the lobby and lack of staff throughout the hotel is a big red flag. We will not return to this hotel unless they make significant improvements to the way that it is run. I operate my hotels to please the guests, and make them come back- that is how every business should run. However, when I went to the front desk to grab some more towels, there wasn't even a person at it at 7:00 pm. I understand staffing is an issue but seriously what the hell. 7 pm on the busiest check in night of the week and no one is there? I ended up snagging 5 towels from housekeeping laundry area. That'll show them. Hot tub also gave me weird rash on my skin, not sure if that was from the water or the twenty other people in the hot tub who had probably pissed in it. - Second night we were there people were bouncing on bed all night above us until 2 am. Very loud place and room doors are cheap which allows for lots of noise to enter.

The place is deserted. It’s creepy. Very sparse. Be aware the water park is closed down. The rooms were old and not in great shape. The beds. Omg the mattresses are covered in stains. Our room smelt bad. Like old and urine. Mildew. The shower needed tlc. Luckily we only stopped here on our way to the UP. There is a holiday inn around the corner that looks nice.

Really odd experience. Everything was in transition from previous owner. Hardly anyone was around. Going to the hot tub/pool area felt like something out of a zombie apocalypse. Most of the area is walled off since the water park has been permanently closed. The bar and restaurant was closed down, although the lady at the front desk offered to grab me a beverage. Pictures on website are a little misleading but the gym was really nice. On a side note, some of the side doors have been taped to be unlocked without the use of a key card which seemed really sketchy.

These images are VERY deceiving. We stayed here recently and what you don't see are the makeshift "walls" immediately behind these supposedly beautiful amenities. They put up "walls" directly behind the one pool that is remaining, blocking off the remainder of the space in the pool area, as everything other than the one pool and hot tub are permanently closed. The pool isn't even visible from the hot tub, and the tiki hut shown in the photos is on the opposite side of the walls as well. The pool was filthy with huge amounts of sand on the bottom of the surface. There were no pool towels available, and the bin for returned towels was overflowing on the ground. The space that was previously used as an arcade clearly had severe water damage, as the machines were gone and the entire space was gutted, with dehumidifiers everywhere. This stay was a massive disappointment. I felt bad for their front desk employees who were dealing constantly with unsatisfied customers.
