My first time there seeing a concert. Buckcherry brought the roof down!

It was great that we got a suite for our family, with the kids in the other connected room and was definitely enough room.
However, the king bed was broken or something it was way too soft in the middle of the bed. The bathroom is small, had to call front desk just to watch tv - as there were some connection issues. Unable to even watch tv due to this annoyance.
Rooms: Size of room are adequate for a large family

This place is hosting some great entertainment! With the water park being dismantled, looking forward to bigger names and other events!

Overall the experience was ok. We wanted a suite that had two rooms so when the kids went to bed, we could still watch tv so we knew we’d be paying a little more. Although under renovations, it was very quiet which we liked. The pool was pretty dirty and definitely needed to be cleaned but was large and the kids had fun. The bed was AWFUL. My back legitimately hurts because the bed was caving in the middle. My husband and I would literally roll into the middle of the bed. When leaving all they said was “I’m sorry to hear that”. I will say that when our tv wasn’t working someone personally came to help us get it working again! Love that customer service. Breakfast was standard with waffle maker, bagels, and cereal. Fruit and donuts too. Just felt like for the price the bed shouldn’t be broken and the pool should be clean. Might try it again when the renovations are done!

The room was large, but the pool was closed when we were there. A little expensive for what we got

We all know damn well that it wasnt "Covid Hardships" That closed the waterpark. It was because of maintenance issues. Please just give kids and teens something to do over the summer. Open the waterpark back up. Atleast for 1 year and see how it does. Guarantee it will be more popular than ever.

Under major renovation. Rooms very dated and just odd with really dim lighting. Whirlpool in room is not safe: there is no step in with top being 3' high. The mattress was stained with urine. That pretty much did it for me :(

There for a wedding. Did not stay in a room. However, the lobby was all torn up, and it was a cross between two hotels happening. It was a ghost town in the bar and restaurant area. Just a disappointment as far as the expectations of a hotel lobby.

The hotel is horrible. It’s run down and has been ‘under renovation’ for years. It’s literally a dilapidated, property that has moldy carpets, stained walls, unclean, unclean washrooms.
They are also a pet friendly hotel which means barking dogs all night. Smell of pet urine all over.
This hotel needs to be condemned and closed.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Bantr. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean and the provided were good. The AC in the room worked well. The three provided breakfast was just needed to get you rolling for the day. Even noticed that I asked for water one morning and the next morning they went and got me a whole picture of ice water to share with my wife. The hotel had a large hot tub, it could’ve been a little bit warmer, but it was nice with fans all around the hot tub area as well. Entry exit with your entry code is very handy to not have a key around with you all the time or worry about losing it. I will definitely be returning for a stay at the Bantr!!

Rooms: The rooms are large and clean. I cleaned hotel rooms in high school and know where to poke around to assess if it is really clean. Hotel vibe fits with the style of northern Wisconsin. Think cabin/woodsy. I thought of The Wilderness in the Dells after I walked through the hotel. Actually, although this hotel could use some updating, it seems to be in a lot better shape than Wilderness in the Dells. From reading the reviews of this place it seems it is under somewhat newer ownership and it is apparent they are remodeling the lobby and have been for a few months. There is a microwave and decent size refrigerator in the room. Both are very clean, which is welcome for a change. I've stayed in some really nice hotels where they overlooked that area. I didn't see any dust in the room and there is a lot of furniture and surfaces to keep clean.
Food and drinks: I could not find anything in reviews that is recent about the breakfast offering. I walked down at 730 on a Sunday to see what was there. It is open at 7. They had 4 different kinds of cereals, bagels, donuts, bread for toast, pre-packaged hardboiled eggs, fruits, yogurts and coffee. Well stocked- don't know if that changes when it is later or busy.
They do have a very small supply of vending type items by the front desk for purchase at the desk. Nobody was at the desk last night when I walked down and I couldn't find any other vending machines. I'd prefer a vending machine on the floor by the ice machine.
People were having drinks from a bar in lobby area last night during an 80s party/concert. It looked fun, but I didn't attend. Front desk guy said on check in we could get free tickets on the website.
Noteworthy details: This is a good value for the money. The pool and hot tub are big. It is a shame the waterpark section has been closed a few years. I would hope they'd rip that out as I'm sure it confuses people. It looks like it was once a nice waterpark. Kind of a bummer it won't reopen, because I'd drive from Appleton to bring kids here rather than the Dells. I get the feeling that isn't the vibe the owners are going to shoot for. I did not go in the pool, only took a walk to look. The gym is near the pool. Looks like a very nice, clean gym. I did see a guest laundry room on first floor.
What I didn't like:
- The tub rusting. It is clean, though.
- Need vending machines on each floor.
- Need better signage throughout the hotel for elevator location, pool, gym, laundry, front desk, food.
-Bed needs to be replaced. Saw several reviews about this. It is very worn and not super comfortable.
-Bathroom fans are VERY loud. I can hear whenever one goes on in nearby room.
-I can hear the guy next door and his bodily noises like he's in the same room. If there were kids or loud people I could see it being so loud it would be too much.
Overall good value for the money. I would return in the future just to see what the new owners have done with the place. It would be cool to see that pool area redone with a bar and maybe outside hot tub that catered to adults instead of kids. If you geared the whole place to adults and didn't allow kids in the pool area that would be unique and perhaps even worth traveling for!

No EV chargers!
Rooms are awkwardly big, cold, hard to heat up. Pool ware was cold.
