I love the organic and natural food section. I mostly shop there and the produce area too. There meat is a little high compared to others. I dislike them making a big deal if I want to package up my own groceries. When raw meat is placed with my fruit, yeah no, you need more training. I do like the self service area when I can do it myself, but most of the time I use cash and have to be forced to repacking my groceries when I get to the car. The best reason to go there is the Caribou Coffee shop. They are the best. Far better in taste compared to the Starbucks one, oh and the service is down to earth and friendly. I'll stop there regardless if I need any groceries or not whenever I'm in Rice Lake.

My husband and I visited the liquor store Marketplace in Rice Lake, WI on Sunday October 2nd about 12:25pm. We picked out what we wanted and my husband got in line and I went to the food part of Marketplace. When my husband got into line he was behind a woman that had a case of beer on the floor that she was pushing with her foot. As soon as he was in line behind her, he could smell severe alcohol on her breath. She turned to him and said "jugs" to him. He said what? She said "jugs" again and said "jugs" a third time. She was slurring her words and he couldn't understand her. He finally figured out what she was talking about - the two bottles he had in his hands. She bent down to pick up her beer and he noticed she urinated in her pants somewhat. She than started complaining about the truck parked crooked in front. My husband said that was his truck. She started yelling and cursing at him for parking in the emergency lane. My husband said he was parked in the handicap parking. He has a handicap parking placard. He was parked a little crooked but it was because of a cart that was left there from a previous customer, but he was still in the handicap parking area. She again argued that he was in the emergency lane and if there was an emergency, she or he wouldn't be rescued because he was parked there. He said he was legally parked there. They argued back and forth. She told him F___ You. He replied F___ You back, you are drunk! I can smell alcohol 3 feet away and she was slurring her words. She then shut up. All this time the two employees just stood there watched and listened. The female employee of Spanish decent sold her a case of beer. The Spanish decent woman's name began with a "G" we believe. The woman was clearly intoxicated and should not have been sold alcohol. My husband could not believe they sold this woman alcohol. She walked out and the young man employee with dark hair followed her out and watched her drive away. In the meantime my husband was trying to check out and the same clerk was trying to delay my husband from leaving right away by messing with his debit card. First she had him put the card in the wrong way. Second time she had pressed the cash back button. My husband said he didn't want cash back. So on the third time of trying to buy his purchases she did cash back again. He didn't want cash back. The fourth time she did it correctly and he was out of there. On his way out, the young man employee that followed out the intoxicated woman said he got her plate number. My husband asked for the plate number he said no. My husband told him we were going to call the police; he could give the plate number to them. I came out of the grocery store and saw my husband was upset and he told me what happened. We went into the food store looking for the manager. No manager but got a phone number to call on Monday Oct. 3rd. We came out, called the Police and told them on the phone what happened. She said when an Officer was available, they will come. My husband went back into the liquor store and waved the young man employee to the front 2 entrances. He told him we called the Police and they were on their way shortly. He told my husband he was sorry that this happened and shook his hand. We didn't know how long it would take as we were on our way to meet family, so we had to go. I gave my phone number to the dispatcher. A few minutes later a Police officer called. My husband told him what happened. Both employees said she wasn't intoxicated and the young man employee that followed her out and saw her drive away said he only got a partial plate number. My husband said they both lied. She was intoxicated and the young man employee had told my husband he got a plate number. They both didn't want to get into trouble for selling an intoxicated person alcohol and watching her drive away. We also thought they knew the woman and was trying to protect her. On Monday, I drove into town to call the liquor store Manager Jordan. I said I'm sur
