Racine Veterinary Hospital is our new vet. They are amazing, caring and so knowledgeable. What stood out the most is that I never felt rushed with all the questions I had about my pet's health and the vet gave me different options to choose from for treatment paths.

We've seen everyone at Racine Vet over the years, and they are all wonderful. Dr Wendy is our most frequent visit, and she is amazing: she's always taken the time to answer all my questions and goes above and beyond for my cats. Cannot say enough good about this place.

I just have to say that Racine vet is always amazing to my rescue pup Dante. They never make him or I feel bad for his barking and make us feel comfortable. Dr. Scherer always takes the time to chat and is so personable and kind. Today though Dr. Scherer, Addy, and the rest of the Racine staff just went above and beyond for us. Not only did they treat my extremely anxious and loud doggo with such patience and a gentle touch, they extended that kindness and care to me; his dog mom who happened to be overly emotional over him today. I can’t extend my thank yous enough for treating us with compassion today. So thank you thank you thank you.

I came up from out of state to visit family and had a bit of a scare when one of my dogs swallowed a burdock burr. Voice at the other land of the line was able to assist me over the phone, and even gave me an emergency phone number to call, just in case....We got home safe and Phineas was fine! Emergency averted. Thank you!

It’s unfortunate that Dr Wendy chose not to treat my dying mother cat — simply a RX to treat an ongoing ear infection.. after she had treated the cat for years. I would never recommend your facility to anyone… go elsewhere for caring vets. Shame on you Dr Wendy.

We've been with them for 25 years. They've been great to all of our Furbabies. Wouldn't change Vet's ever.

They are all very nice. They did a thorough examination, and we scheduled her teeth to be cleaned. Something we have never had suggested before for any of our dogs.

I was dog sitting for a client of mine. Before they went on vacation they got bad news about their pet. They had arranged it with the doctor so I could bring the pet in to have the tough stun while they were gone. Is when I called perceptions had no idea. I answered the ready note in the file. She said now. I went to pick up his medication and talk to them in person. Again they said no I asked them to read the chart. She tried to make an appointment a week later. I told her that day was not good because the lab is not open. Then that's what the doctor had told us. She looked at me like I was crazy. I asked her to read the Chart again. She said there were no appointments for the week. Working at a veterinary hospital for years myself. I asked if I could drop the pet off in the morning and pick them him up after testing. She said okay let's do that. We set it up I go there in the morning and nobody has a clue. They finally figured out. It took all day for them to do the testing. I got the call to pick him up. As I picked him up they wanted their money. I told them I was the dog sitter and that everything was prearranged. Again they had no idea what I was talking about. They had to ask the doctor if it was okay if I picked the pet up. My name and phone number was in the chart. They were told the owners were out of the country. And it was okay to bill them. Is somewhere the communication broke down at your facility. That needs to be corrected. I totally understand that you need payment but if it was prearranged for a very good client of yours. Your staff needs to communicate and they need to read the chart and understand what they're reading.

One of my cats had struvite stones in her urine. I tried to contact a few places to get my cat examined, but no one responded to me. We then called Racine Veterinary Hospital, and we made a new patient appointment for about a week later. My cat wasn't in pain or in distress of any sort, so I was comfortable waiting that long, and they also asked me questions over the phone to see if she was in distress or uncomfortable. The vet who helped us was kind and gentle with my very shy 6 year old cat. The vet (I really wish I remembered her name) was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a way I was able to understand. We didn't have to wait long to be seen, and our visit was quick. Every encounter with their staff was wonderful and everyone was nice. We will definitely be taking our other two cats here.
