“Excellent store for reasonable priced tools and every day maintenance items. They've come along way from cheap don't last to decent quality and fair priced.”
“Customer service is amazing! So friendly and helpful. This store is a gem to the Racine community. I needed to replace a GFCI outlet and was looking for one similar to the old one. Not only did I receive friendly help finding it, but I got great advice as to how to reinstall it. Thank you! I will return for my next DIY fix-it project.”
“Stopped in to get what I needed, which was fatwood to start campfires and got lost in the huge selection of griddles, yeti supplies and Milwaukee tools across the entire store. The staff was extraordinarily helpful. One of the best well put together and cleanest Ace Hardware. I’ve seen in a really long time.”
“My absolute favorite hardware store. The owner always really knows his stuff. they train their staff pretty well as well, I always get good service at Douglas hardware .whatever I have a plumbing issue to fix, there is no other store I'd rather go to.”

“The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The minute I walk in I am greeted everytime. The prices are what you would expect from a small local hardware store. In my opinion, you don't go to a small hardware store for saving money, you come here for the helpful staff and the local convenience. It's the knowledge of that local staff that is worth the couple extra bucks you might spend.
That being said, I wouldn't recommend shopping here for power tools. If you are in the market for a power tool, you have done your homework on brand.... Now save yourself some money.”
