Got my beautiful pup from Hope Safe house. The organization is supportive and provide great care and treatment for the animals even after you have adopted them. Going to training, continued care if animal had some preexisting issue. I never had a place that provided that level of care and support in addition to an adoption package, a toy, food, blankets, treats, discounts coupons for other organizations that support their mission.
This place really goes above and beyond for the animals they take care of and want to set you and the pup up for success ?

It's a good place to adopt a cat or dog. Friendly people and helpful. Stop by and see what fur baby you can bring home.

I'm disabled with one leg and I reached out to this company because my ex-boyfriend basically abandoned. His dog with me, the dog is a beautiful dog. Loving dog. Hes just a large size dog and I can't handle or take care of him. So I was looking at the reviews and the things that the company says they do. And I thought wow, this would be a perfect place to help him. But I received a call from them this morning. And was basically told to give him to the Wisconsin humane societybecause they don't do that. I'm very confused by the website. They say they reach out and help abandoned animals, and it's not the case. Owner reply back with statements and all info in reply is not what was in form as I stated before animal was abandoned by ex and only statements giving to me is ( cannot do the and take it to Human society) non of information that is stated in reply call ended in less than 60 seconds but I did find a different safe haven that will except him and make best effort to find him a love home and that's all I want for him but that you for the information now

PLEASE BE WARNED, DO NOT GO THROUGH THE WORK OF FILLING OUT ADOPTION FORMS. THEY DO NOT ALLOW FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 8 TO ADOPT. A GROSS OVERSTEP IN JUDGEMENT ON THEIR PART.

I adopted my beautiful cat from here 18 years ago. They do a marvelous job of caring for the animals. Their facility is immaculate! I donate food to them as I am able.

I have adopted from Hope in the past and always knew they would be my first choice when it came time to add to our family again. Unfortunately my experience with contacting them to begin our process has been extremely disappointing. We were given a time to come in when the office would be open and when we arrived at the time given no one was there. No answer to our calls. Messages don’t get returned. Calls missed by 2 minutes and returned immediately get no response. VERY frustrating and sad as I have always supported Hope’s mission. Even more troubling: the person doing such a poor job has just become President of the Board (according to the latest newsletter)!! We have had to give up our wish to adopt a Hope dog. We’ll go somewhere else, of course, but absolutely would have preferred to work with Hope. I don’t understand how a Board member (especially President) could do such a poor job on behalf of their furry clients!

Adopted our pup from H.O.P.E. recently. Top-notch organization and experience from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with our decision to adopt our new family member. His foster mom was also great to work with. She answered any questions we had and continued to do so even after our adoption.

H.O.P.E. is a non-profit 100% run on volunteers. The care and compassion for the animals is their top priority. They rescue kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs of all ages. The volunteers are amazing!

We have fostered 20 dogs through this AMAZING organization. We have worked with the staff for years, all of whom are committed to the safety and well-being of animals brought in and being adopted out. We’ve also had several friends and family adopt from this organization. All are impressed by the dedication of the staff and by the generosity of the organization. In addition, we have first-hand experience adopting from HOPE as we adopted one of our dogs as a foster failure. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this organization. Adopt a dog from HOPE Safehouse - they are the best little rescue in Southeast Wisconsin.
If you’re not ready to adopt, consider fostering an animal through HOPE. They pay for food, supplies, toys, medical and everything else the animals need. The experience is rewarding for everyone in the family. In addition, I’d like to emphasize that the dogs brought in through HOPE are dogs that are worth saving. Every. Time. I don’t know what other rescues bring in but these animals are worth it. For those of you out there that think only bad dogs or mean dogs are dumped at kill shelters - I know from experience that’s just not the case. Prior to fostering through HOPE, I had the misconception that only bad or dangerous dogs were dumped at kill shelters. Let’s fast forward 20 foster dogs…. The sad truth is that great dogs, who love everyone and everything, get dumped at kill shelters all the time. This organization pulls those great pets from shelters to save them and then matches them with families that are best for them. We’ve never fostered a dog through HOPE that wasn’t amazing. Every single dog we’ve fostered has been (a million times over) worth saving. Five stars really isn’t enough for this rescue.
