Let me begin by saying I do not leave reviews, but I felt compelled to add to this shop’s already good reputation. Dan is a very honest man. I’ve been looking for a good mechanic for years. He will tell you the priorities, and be honest when you don’t need a fix. He also has amazing pricing. I will never go elsewhere!

Absolutely fantastic! We will always take our cars to Dan's from now on! I wish I could give 10 stars! We brought our work van to THREE mechanics and none of them could figure out what the problem. Another mechanic that worked on the van who couldn't figure out the problem actually recommended him. The mechanic said Dan was very adamant about fixing the source of the problem and knowledgeable so he'd be the perfect candidate. After speaking to him on the phone, he diagnosed the problem right away. Sure enough, he solved the issue and our van runs perfectly now! A huge relief. He also gave us a checklist of things to watch, the full rundown of the problem and topped off all of our fluids. The craziest part was his timeline was next to nothing. He got us in and out in less than two days! His prices were very fair and competitive as well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality, trustworthy, intelligent, and well-priced mechanic! (Note: Currently in California but live in Racine hence the location.)

11:30am 2-27-24 called for an simple fix fir an wheel alignment, was told they don’t do alignments without having work done . Which is ridiculous since I’ve gotton a lot of front end work done . Customer service desk is disrespectful rude wouldn’t advise coming here for service fix your marketplace on website that says wheel alignments.

Dan’s Auto Service answered a call, acted quickly and assisted with an auto that wouldn’t start. As you know vehicles are an essential tool for single moms. He went above and beyond normal servicing protocols! Thank you…for your help!!!! Look, business is business, but there are businesses who also care about people and go out of their way to help. I highly recommend Dan’s Auto Service, they are full of integrity and honest, they truly care.

I haven't been there yet but have an appointment on Tuesday so far five stars he called right back after I didn't get an answer when I called very reasonable price over the phone definitely will give an update after I get my car back trying to get it to pass emissions I know if it passes emissions after I take it into him I will be the happiest person as my husband and I have been having trouble getting it to pass and especially being low income is hard to find a good mechanic and by the way he is also a very nice man I will have to say

Dan is a gem of a man and an excellent mechanic. He took the time to make sure I understood the issue with our Honda and repaired it quickly, at a fair price. He was honest and patient with any questions I had. I can not recommend him enough.

My 2014 Chevy Impala ABS and Power Steering light came on my car. I called Dan and explained the situation took the car in within two days the car was fixed & running like new. Dan was nice enough to explain the issue. He didn't overcharge me he was honest & very reasonable. Dan is my new mechanic. If you are truly looking for quality work & honesty Dan is the Man.

Usually I had very good experience with Dan but this time I didn’t because my car was sitting for almost week and didn’t get touched to see what was the matter with it, as well I did need my other vehicles oil change but he couldn’t give me a time frame when he could get my car. I was just very highly disappointed with the experience I had and won’t be coming back because of it honestly.

I was referred by a friend and Dan did not disappoint. He was able to get my brakes done the same day I called and the price was more than reasonable. I was so impressed with the service I received that I brought my car back for some exhaust work just a couple weeks later. Dan does quality work for a fair price, I highly recommend this shop.
