Used to shop here weekly, since they were bought by Kroger, I only go here for one or two items about once a month. The selection is greatly reduced on grocery items, and I'm constantly disappointed with their bakery items. Again, today, I stopped to get the $5 bakery special for a dozen donuts. Only had 2 boxes to choose from, at 10am, I purchased one, after just having my first donut this evening, I took one bite and threw it out. It tastes like rancid grease. The Metro Market, located near my work in Menomonee Falls has excellent bakery, and is owned by Kroger, as well. My advice to those in Caledonia? Shop at Festival!

Wish I could leave NO stars, or even Negative stars! This is the most poorly managed grocery store I've ever been in. Not the cleanest. Workers there are unfriendly. I stood at the fish counter, waiting for the employee ( who had his back to the cooling display case) to notice he had a customer. After what seemed like a reasonable length of time, I asked if he could help me. He slammed his knife down on the table, gave a huge sigh, spun around around and glared at me. He got my order and handed it to me without a word! Before the deli started prewrapping all their meats and cheeses, it would take, on average, at least 10 minutes to get your order filled. The people there don't even notice you're waiting...then move so slowly it's like watching paint dry. The employees really act like they hate being there! They are always out of most items on sale. Poor selection, high prices. Now, I can't get out of this store fast enough, you have the pleasure of checking out... At 5 PM on a weekday, there's 1 or 2 checkout lines out of a possible 10 or so open. And 6-7 people in each of these lines. And very rarely a bagger is available. Upon asking the manager ( looks like she's high school age) why there aren't more lines open, she says " we're short handed and doing the best we can! That's because nobody wants to work in such a miserable environment! I've never left the store that I didn't feel aggravated. I no longer shop there. Now, I shop at Piggly Wiggly, where there are rarely any lines, and all the employees, from produce to stockers to cashiers are all friendly and polite. I told them I used to shop at the Pick n save on Douglas but hate it there. Cashier replies " We get a lot of that!". You've been warned. Terrible store. Needs competition next door.

Lines lines lines!!!! These idiots have put all reliance on self checkout, with more associates at self checkout than normal cashiers...and they hardly do anything. Today there was 1 cashier, one bagger, and two self check out associates (one for each self checkout area). The self checkout associates usually just stand there and are a total waste of space unless someone wants to buy alcohol or does something wrong. You can't even traverse the front of the store without having to barge through lines to self checkout/cashiers. Going through self checkout isn't even a viable option if you have a full cart so you're stuck with the long cashier line (hell both lines are long). Hopefully they will fix this soon. They SHOULD, during rush hour, have at least 3 cashiers open, with one full time bagger floating between, while people who can bag some of their own stuff do that. That and 1-2 associates who float between bagging and help with self checkout.

Not a bad Pick 'n Save, clean and pretty well stocked. Like others I've noticed that newer and younger workers have problems with communication, basic math, and customer service. Prices are pretty good, and it's right near a friendly diner.

I think they have stepped up the quality of produce here in the last two months. I have had some great, delicious produce recently. When I started shopping in the area 3 years ago, I was shocked at how bad the fruits n veggies were around town. You couldn't even get a decent avocado back then. I hope they keep up the good work. I kinda wonder though why they can't be more consistent with products I like. But that seems to be an issue at all grocery stores.
