I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The kind, compassionate staff listened to my concerns and were able to treat my cat until they could do his surgery. The staff let me know exactly what needed to be done. The surgery went well, and my cat is back to purr-fect health! I will definitely recommend Beechwood to anyone in need of vet services.

Dr. Beyer and her staff are true angels. I first came to Beechwood in Decemberish or so of 2023. Our cat became very ill and our normal vet, Belle City vet, could not fit us in for several days. Belle City heard my cat’s symptoms and scheduled an appointment the same day. I took my cat to Belle City in the past for similar symptoms and was told maybe she’s sneezing due to a growth in her mouth. There was no visible growth, they said they would have to do surgery to look. When Dr. Beyer saw my cat for the same symptoms, she suggested it could be allergies. She prescribed a prescription diet and our cat has been so happy and healthy ever since!
Today, 9/22/24, our dog needed to be seen as he seemed to fall fairly ill yesterday (Sunday). Belle City said they don’t have any sick appointments until Wednesday and I didn’t feel comfortable waiting that long to have him looked at. I called Beechwood and once again, they carved out an apt for him. Dr. Breyer was very thorough and explained every step to me, including cost breakdown.
Dr. Beyer’s willingness to take care of our animals on such short notice without any expectations for us to return was so unexpected, but also appreciated. Her kindness has truly tugged at my heart. I am looking forward to making Beechwood Veterinary Clinic our new “normal” vet.
Thank you all for loving and caring for our fur babies just as much as we do!!

We'd like to say thank you to the entire staff here. This was our first time at beechwood after transfering from another vet.
From the front desk, to the technicians, to the vet. We were treated like family. Unfortunately we had to have our dog put down. And they were there for us through every step with nothing but kindness and compassion. They laughed with us and even cried with us. The wonderful women at the front desk made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in, And even held our 2 week old baby while we sat and held our dog. The vet was very honest and understanding. I have never felt so comfortable with a vet especially in such a hard time. We will absolutely be staying with beechwood for our other pets.

So impressed with the care my dog received here. Staff was welcoming and took time to listen to my concerns and questions. An effective care plan was put in place to get my dog feeling better. Medication administration was explained thoroughly and I was asked to call and give them an update on how she was doing.

This place is unbelievable! My mom took her small dog to be checked out because her dog was having issues with her stools. So one of the staff members decided to draw blood from this small dog from her neck!! Are you kidding me?! She is a small dog which should have been done on one of her front legs. Instead left this poor little dog with a Swollen neck!! If you (staff)don’t know what you’re doing you should go back to vet school ! Shame on you!

I've been going to Beechwood for several years and have always been satisfied with the service received. My latest experience was an emergency which they handled immediately with both compassion and professionalism to my dog as well as to me This wasJuly 5, 2024. Today my dog is doing great!

I had an emergency with one of my family members and these kind people were the only ones who were willing to squeeze us in between other appointments. Because of these wonderful people I now know what a real vet clinic is supposed to be like. They made me aware that my current vet lied to me about ailments my cat has. I have been treating my cat for these fake ailments for years and I'm quite upset about it. Thankfully, these wonderful people showed me his file and made me aware of the lies. Everyone at this clinic is kind, and truly cares for your family members. They are willing to educate you on what is truly going on and give you the solutions with no games. I didnt get the run around and what I was saying wasn't ignored like what happens at my current vet. They truly were and are concerned about my cat. They are available anytime, want updates, and will see him asap if things are not ok. They don't charge you ridiculous prices and or take advantage of the situation and upcharge you on everything because it's a urgent visit. I am truly grateful to these people. My cat is getting the treatment he actually needs and not being treated for things that aren't wrong with him. I will be transferring all 6 of my family members over to this clinic since they are what real vets are supposed to be like. We finally found a place with folks who truly care about you and your family. Not how big your pockets are. Amazing, amazing people!! I wish I had come here many many years ago. Thank you to you all for being so wonderful!!!! Thank you for taking care of us. ❤️ THANK YOU!! ❤️ everyone should bring their family here to be cared for!

We do not recommend this clinic after our visit in May 2024. The staff made it very clear that they have developed their own opinions of Rottweilers and their owners. The “nurse” went on about how she saw two Rottweilers on the list and was leery of the appointment. She was discriminatory of the breed before she even met our babies. Our female is 6 years old and we have never had a behavioral issue, our late boy had never had behavior issues, and our current puppy (12 weeks old at time of appointment) is still learning. We were told numerous stories of feelings of the possibility of losing limbs. We felt bullied and unwelcome. We were talked at, and there was no inclusive conversation. They took our puppy back first, (*Not a fan of this-Our previous vet before our move always performed exams in the room.) The vet came back (older woman- picture I did not see on website) to our room never introduced herself and started lecturing us how our 12 week old puppy needs behavioral counseling because he snapped at her after trying to examine his mouth. Let us review: this is his first time away from us, stressful situation, and I’m sure he felt threatened and afraid. She now was talking at us, was rude, and was telling us what we NEED to do, there was no conversation between both parties. Between the two of providers one of them made mention of us raising a future Kujo. They were condescending, asking if we even met his parents (he is the half brother to our late male and we have met the father multiple times and the mother twice.) We were absolutely appauled at what these professionals thought was okay to say to their patients’ owners. When our other adult female went back they reported her exam went smooth, when giving us report on findings, the vet was condescending and snappy. We left, I was tearful and said we would never be going back. It was the most awful experience at a veterinary clinic as of yet. I hope these staff members go back to the basics and relearn bedside manner. As a nurse myself, I would never treat a patient as we were treated.
