The service here is second to none. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and found the most deductions possible which saved me a ton of money on my taxes. Plus everyone is so genuinely kind and friendly.

If you're looking for a trust worthy location to do your taxes, notary services, live scans & more this is your spot!! I recommend asking for Karen Espino she's amazing!! She so patient, kind & smart! This location is so clean, as soon as I walked in it smelled like Christmas! The staff is all so professionally put together with the way they speak, dress & carry themselves! Definitely a 10/10. I was completely satisfied with the paperwork they helped me file as well.

Yesterday I had the extreme privilege of going to get my mother's and my taxes done with 1st Choice Taxes and Accounting. First, their staff was incredibly professional and courteous and they were great in helping my mom with her personal taxes (in Spanish). As for me, I am a newer business owner and I was literally in fear of doing my taxes. However, Claudia and her staff made the process seamless and I was ecstatic over the results they were able to accomplish. The price for the services was extremely fair. I highly recommend 1st Choice for your business needs and tax services.

The unavoidable & inevitable Death and Taxes. The latter turns out...not that bad thanks to Jesus, Hannah and their delightful team. This family business is on top of it, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and informative. They have made bookkeeping and taxes easy for me and eliminated the stress that comes with it. For that I am thankful. Now I just need to find 1st Choice Decease and Embalment and I'll be alright.

If you have any stress or anxiety about your tax situation (like I did) 1st Choice Tax & Accounting Services located in Downey, CA is the place to go. The office atmosphere was pleasant/relaxing & the receptionist Kenia was helpful & very well organized. Claudia Lopez was my tax preparer & when I met her ( I knew she would be able to help me) she has such a beautiful/positive vibe to her. Claudia is very knowledgeable and saved me money. She also gave me some valuable tips for organizing my finances in the future. She is very reasonable, it was such a great experience! I can't wait for next year to do my taxes with Claudia. No more waiting to the last minute for me. I'm so glad I went to 1st Choice Tax & Accounting Services. Thank you Sylvia Ramirez

Came here to amend my taxes and I am so happy I found this place. Everyone was really nice and professional. Gabe was my tax adjuster and he is the best. I literally wanted to hug him after he fixed my taxes I was so happy. I will definitely come back here for all my tax needs, it is really worth it.

What can I say, the positive reviews for 1st Choice are spot on. My expectations were high going in, so it made for my experience to have to reflect their 5 star rating, through every step in the process. Fortunately every part of my visit was smooth, from the initial point of contact with the receptionist, to the waiting room amenities, and finally to the actual tax preparation. Gabriel was the utmost professional, providing guidance and suggestions at every opportunity. I call him a "tax nerd" endearingly only because he has a genuine interest in tax code, current laws and genuinely helping people. Many tax preparers just go through the motions but Gabriel frequently looked over past returns and letters I've received from the IRS and laid out his understanding of my entire tax situation without me even having to ask. His rates are competitive and reasonable, and the service exceeded what I actually paid. I might be shooting myself in the foot here for saying that, but it's true! Lastly, the office have several inspirational quotes painted on the walls and as hangings. In a way these quotes reflect the values that drive the business and it's apparent that each employee sees their role integral to the service this establishment provides. Another 5 star review, thank you Gabriel and staff!

Hands down the best decision Ive made is using 1st choice for my business & personal taxes. I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I can't stress the importance of using these guys for your taxes & book keeping. When I was looking for someone to do my accounting for my business, CPA's charge so much I had no idea what I was going to do because I couldn't afford their fees. I came across 1st choice and their prices are so reasonable. I've set up 1 on 1's with Jesus a few times now, and I learn so much in our 1 on 1 meetings regarding my business finances. Extremely helpful, gives great advice, does not lie or cut corners. These guys are extremely professional and honest. I also work alongside Hannah who has amazing customer service, always answers anytime I call or email and have a questions, explains everything so thoroughly. These guys are the best, trust me!

This is the second year that I have done my business taxes with Jesus and I am completely confident in his work. He is very organized and willing to answer any questions that I have. I had previously tried 3 other tax preparers and I had issues just about every year. I'm glad that my search for a tax professional is over.

1 st choice tax services are amazing! I'm filing all the way from Massachusetts and they were able to make my process very fast and smooth. I want to give a shout- out to Jesus for explaining everything so thoroughly and answering all of my questions. I definitely will be using them again!
