“Our daughter was married at the Dousman House this weekend, it’s a stunning historical venue on the river. It’s centrally located for hotel, dining, and entertainment. The venue is stunning and a beautiful location for photos inside and out. We had the ceremony outdoors on the patio and reception inside taking advantage of the entire property. The bridal prepping suite is gorgeous and spacious. I can’t say enough good things about the event coordinator, Hannah, she is an absolute pleasure to work with and is very responsive. The entire staff, servers, bartenders, and kitchen crew were fantastic and very pleasant. The meal was delicious and nicely presented. The venue ensured we had nothing to stress over and the event went off perfectly thanks to their professionalism and attentiveness.”

The overall experience at the Waterfront was EXCELLENT. With her wonderful communication, the venue coordinator Jill made the entire process fun, easy and stress free. The venue is overall very beautiful. From the moment we stepped into the event space, we knew it was the right place for us. We had both the ceremony and reception in the event space. They do have décor and items that we could use for both ceremony and reception, that is included in the venue fee. They take care of so much more than your typical venue, including helping with décor and organizing and filling food items for guests. When booking, you get two nights in the bridal suite, which includes a room for the wedding party to get ready. There is also a separate groom room. Both are photo worthy rooms! The guest rooms are wonderful as well. We did also have our rehearsal dinner at the Back Water Grill, which is located in the hotel. It made it very easy to plan the dinner. Overall, we can’t say enough about the positive experience we had at the Waterfront!”
