Dr. Yelk has been wonderful for our Minnie and Miles. We are so grateful!
Our vet in Madison closed up years ago, so we bounced around a little after that. It was so great to find an incredible vet right here in Poynette. The staff is so amazing!
Dr. Yelk has even fit us in when an emergency visit was needed, which we appreciate so very much!

Had an incredible first time experience at this local Poynette Vet establishing care for our new puppy! Very thorough, compassionate, personable and not rushed. We couldn’t have asked for a better visit and everyone was very patient with our two year old son as well. Dr. Yelk even allowed our son to use her stethoscope too. So sweet! Highly recommend this place based on our first time experience for our pup Buster!

Our dog was very sick, we called everywhere for Emergency Services, and not one had any availability. Even though Poynette Veterinary was fully booked they made time to care for our dog. The staff was very professional and they took the time to explain the medication and procedures. Without their amazing support I don’t think our pup would be here today. Thank you so much for all that you do!

We called everywhere to help my dog cause he was really lethargic and puking.we arrived an hour early and they still got us in! We are switching vets from portage to here.Awesome crew!

Highly Recommend! originally came to Poynette Vet on a recommendation from a friend. i Was looking to find out what was wrong with one of my older cats. He had jumped and his back end was hurt. Took him to our regular vet, and they wouldn't/couldn't tell what was wrong. Wouldn't do a x-ray. During our visit to Poynette Vet the first thing they did was an x-ray - found that the cat has arthritis, and gave him a joint supplement that is like glucosamine for humans. After working with Poynette Vet, he was able to jump again. Pricing is much more affordable than our previous vet. The doctors work very hard and on multiple occasions we have received calls hours after they closed, to update us on lab results with advise/choices on how to proceed.Would give them 10 stars if I could

This was the 11th vet or pet hospital I called and the only one that could see kitty that afternoon on an emergency basis.Great staff, reasonable prices, more than willing to drive from home in the Dells to bring kitty here. They love her and had her better as quickly as possible!
