Wish I had been told it takes 2 plus hours to change tires and balance and front end alignment. Last time I tried the valet service was not good. Next time I will just get a car to use. The people at the service desk are great. Paid my bill $978.00 with 10 $100 00 bills and was asked if I had anything smaller. What you only want $20.00????!!!!!!

Service was great, but prices too high to fix another problem which I couldn't afford. I try to keep my business locally, but it's difficult with small town dealership.

Oil change, tire rotation, recall, and warranty work all done properly and in a timely manner. Entire process was painless. Will continue to book with Portage Ford for service. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. So glad to have bought the truck here and continue to get amazing customer service! Thanks for being Rock Star Awesome!

The dealership jumped in and saved the day for us since the warranty company would only allow a re-manufactured starter which is on back order. They were able to convince them that a new starter which is available is the best option and we received the truck back sooner than later!

A job that was supposed to go into the next day was finished before the shop closed that day. What a wonderful surprise. They went the extra mile to finish early. Great people to do business with.

Customer communication while sitting on your vehicle for a week because they didn't repair the problem the first time and you had to immediately return the vehicle with the same problems. 2 and a half complete work days after returning the vehicle and not 1 phone call... My vehicle has now cost me 1300.00 plus to be repaired or shall we say at least attempted not to mention roughly 300.00 min a day... For someone saying a dealer is guaranteed to fix your problems because they have all the tools usually.... well that may be so but knowledge and complete customer service (communication) don't just happen. That is something you work at to perfect. Without working to achieve it however puts you right where most of the rest of the shops are. Glorified and expensive oil and lube shops are. Portage Ford you can do much better and have done much better. 4 service writers the day I was there, you think someone would call.

Don’t go here, I regret not walking out when I realized the car I came to see wasn’t as it appeared online. Of all 4 photos , they managed to leave out photos of all the dents and rust. I ended up purchasing a different vehicle and needed to call them on my drive home about it not feeling right. I brought it back days later to have them look it over… it just continued , leading to several trips back , basically as they couldn’t seem to figure it out the issues. The last visit was due to the vehicle over heating and antifreeze boiling out. So within the first 3 months I had many issues, and now I’m without a vehicle. SO I take it to another auto shop & its the water pump, with a Ford Taurus, can only be fixed at the dealership, as they have the proper tools and need to take apart the engine. So I have it towed to Portage Ford. The icing on the cake is Portage Ford ( the place I bought it ) telling me it would be 3400. Metro Ford in Madison fixed it for 2600. The man at Portage Ford (don’t know his name, I just know it WASN’T Adam, as he was the only person that seemed level headed in this place) anyway, the unknown man lost his cool when he was told I didn’t want them repairing my car.

This was the most outrageous experience I have ever had at a car dealership! I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change, and to diagnose why my navigation radio was not working. I was charged $120 for the radio diagnostics.When I picked up the vehicle I was told that the radio software should be updated, and if that didn't fix the problem, I needed a new radio. I updated the software, but the problem persisted. I purchased a used radio from a reputable seller on Ebay. Radio was the exact same part number as the original, and was listed as tested and functional. I installed the new radio, but the touch screen still acted quirky.I returned to the dealership to discuss with the tech, and find out what action to take next. I was told, "there's nothing more we can do to the radio that you haven't already done. Buy a new radio."I asked the tech what diagnostics they had run, and was told, "we couldn't run diagnostics because the screen wouldn't respond." THAT'S WHY I BROUGHT IT IN FOR THEM TO FIGURE OUT!!!! So I was charged $120 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!So, don't waste your money here. Might as well take your Benjamins and light them on fire!

We weren’t able to make a deal happen at this time, but regardless these guys were great- especially Sawyer and Dale. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the end result, and were nothing but pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and they are honest and fair all the way around.

Recently had a great service experience with Melissa and team at Portage Ford. She advocated for coverage of a repair that ended up being excluded from our third-party service plan, but I appreciated that she was thorough and customer-oriented, and in our court trying to proactively figure it out. Great communication and follow-through... not easy to find.

Awesome service. Suggested I use road dialed assistance to have car towed which I did. Great service that kept me informed. Service sept kept me informed as well with part ordered and replaced within one day. Very pleased would recommend them to anyone. No 10 rating as car not cleaned and washed upon return which is part of car services I’ve received in the past at other dealerships

Nice working with this dealership. I had a couple recalls on my 22’ Maverick. They completed same day with concierge pickup and drop off at my house. I’ll definitely be taking my vehicles back to Portage Ford Dodge Jeep Ram in the future.

I updated my 4.6L with hot rod cams, performance intake, and a 62 mm throttle body and cam / valve cover dress up . The tech did a wonderful job on the installation and took less than a day and at a great price!
