Email sent to the dealership!Reported problem right away about a shake the truck had.I wanted to share my disappointment in the service center at your facility.Not standing behind the vehicle that was sold to me is truly disappointing.Getting shunned away for a problem that does not want to get dealt with at the service manager level is not acceptable.The vehicle has been in for service at different places four times for the same problem.In this email, I will attach proof of the problem that I had asked you guys to warranty.My recommendation at this point is the service manager should immediately be placed on a two week unpaid leave or terminated immediately.Per my previous messages, I spoke with Bridgestone directly regarding the tires. As I already relayed, they said that this needs to go to the dealer that sold me the vehicle. Which I tried to get scheduled with you guys and was turned away.I pleaded with one of the general managers at a tires plus to assist me with this nightmare of a problem, after a few days of phone calls back-and-forth they stated that the truck has to go back to the dealer. I informed them that the dealer has been turning me away and pleaded with them to try to assist me. The general manager of the tires plus agreed to take a look at my truck and talk with Bridgestone to see if they could figure out what the problem was. Today I spent three hours at the tires plus in an hour and a half talking with the general manager, upon road force testing of the tire and question it failed the road force test, and met the warranty qualifications for replacement according to Bridgestone,. They also checked the other three tires, and they were out of balance, the general manager was astounded by how much they were off and rebalance them.A simple thing, as in standing behind the product that you sell me, my hunch was correct all along that there was a bad tire, and it needed to be Road force tested to figure out the problem.I’ve attached the invoice from tires plus. Please take a look at it.I hope you share all of this information with the general manager of the store and implantations are put in place to take care of customers and stand behind the productsPlease also share with the general manager that I had already turned in paperwork from big Bear tire, stating that they had found a tire that was bad, but again still was turned away.PS Melissa at your service center has been a pleasure to work with! Sept 14th, 2023 I took my 2018 Dodge Charger to get checked out because there was some noise that didn't sound good. Had video proof and showed them and explained that I took to a different dealership telling me it was my transmission. The tech at Portage took my car for a drive and heard what I was talking about with the noise. The Clerk came out and told me that it wasn't anything with my transmission, it was my front differential. They also said that I needed a new driver CV Shaft and Rear Axel. Parts came up to $4,600. I paid $332.27 for the service to check for the noise and for an alignment. I took my car to a different place that would replace both my CV Shafts and front differential for less than $3,000 with parts and labor. I also was running codes for evap so I had them order a Charcoal Canister. That was included with the price. The mechanic called saying that I needed to come in to talk about my car. He told me that the parts that Portage said that needed to be replaced, didn't fix the problem. I need a Transfer Case and Transmission replaced. That's another $4,000. I was crying because I didn't have the $3,000 for the parts to begin with and now, I have to come up with $4,000 because Portage diagnosed my car wrong. Portage needs to get themselves better techs so people with tight budgets and only living off one paycheck every two weeks don't go into debt because of their mistakes. I still owe over $14,000 on this $25,000 car. I can't keep making these big payments because someone didn't know that my transfer case was spilling out rust and was the noise I was hearing from the video and the gears are slipping because my car shutters every time I hit the accelerator.

Everything overall went very well. I worked with Joe/Joseph moslty over the phone and email for contacting as I am about 2 hours away. Picked up a nice ram 1500. Cars on lot seem to be well taken care of. Only con was listing online didn't match up with the vehicle for example my truck was suppose to have a back up camera according to listing online but did not have one. Otherwise overall seems like a good dealership to me.

Great staff; friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Work was performed as expected.Paid over $100 for oil change/tire rotation (other Ford dealers charge about $70). Then Portage Ford wants to charge an additional 3.5% if you use a credit card. I won't do that and I won't go back.

Great place, under construction, knowledgeable staff, improvised sales set up. Bought a truck, my friend liked it so much, he bought one the next day. UNDER CONSTRUCTION seem to be giving great deals.

Didn't care for their sales staff. They didn't listen and were pushy. After visiting several other dealerships we really noticed how lacking this dealership was. We bought our vehicle somewhere else and we are very happy.

We broke down on vacation and even though they couldn't get us fixed the same day due to parts they helped us out immensely! We borrowed a loaner car to get a rental so we could finish out the trip and the next week when the jeep was done they were so helpful in making sure I got the help I need for the rental return and back on the road in my own car. Mark and his team are a pleasure to work with!

My daughter bought her first car from there. Has only had it for less than a month. Yes, it was a used budget car. But the service department was rude and unhelpful. A check engine light came on and she was told to bring it back to the dealer as it was a recent purchase, 1.5 hrs later after sitting in a tent, no water no offer of water to find out the extended warranty would not cover the diagnostic which was $199.40.

We had to get a simple replacement, and we knew it would be an upcharge because it was a dealership, but they lied about what they did. I asked the rep if they replaced the 4 spark plugs and 4 coils and they said yes on 3 separate occasions after viewing the recipt when getting home. They only did one but charged over the nose.Freindly but deceptive.

I bought my first brand new truck and had the greatest service experience from Joe. He made the process less stressful and treated me like i was family more then just a sale. He made sure I understood all the features of the truck even after the sale was complete. He made sure i didnt leave without being 100% satisfied and comfortable with the vehicle and my experience with the purchase.He even made sure the next day that everything was going great.

I had the most memorable experience dealing with Portage Ford! They went absolutely above and beyond what I ever expected! I left there with nothing but a truly positive experience, a beautiful Jeep Compass and a huge smile on my face! I never imagined I could be so in love with a vehicle. I have to give a huge thanks to Krisha… she bent over backwards to make sure everything worked out perfect. I couldn’t have done any of this without her and I’m incredibly appreciative for ALL her help and efforts. I also want to thank Sawyer for all his contributed help and support. He was such a nice guy with a great upbeat attitude and personality. I couldn’t help but feel super comfortable and relaxed. Without a doubt, I would recommend Portage Ford to anyone who is thinking about purchasing a vehicle now or in the future.
