The hotel is really nice, but their TV service is absolutely horrible. A lot of the local channels are blocked/locked out. If you want to watch any sports that are nationally televised, good luck. Plan on going somewhere else. Unfortunately this is the hotel that my company places us. If they could get a better TV service, this place would be great.

The rooms are not the cleanest. My asthma is trigger with dust. The headboards were thick with dust and even the table next to the bed where I lay my head next to. There was hair in the shower. This is why I travel with cleaning supplies and my own pillow. I can't breath in that much dust gross! The breakfast is ok and the people are friendly The pool is nice but the rooms not exactly what you would expectNoteworthy details: Right next to Walmart and the interstate

Was in town for work, the front of desk girl was super friendly. Nice decor or the hotel. It appeared they missed vacuuming my room, but everything else was just fine. I would stay here again.

This is the first Best Western I've been to in many years. I was pleasantly surprised and glad we stayed. The room was very clean and the water pressure was perfect. The staff (from the front desk to the cleaning staff) was very helpful and super friendly. Our room was on the top floor and sitting on the balcony with coffee in the morning was a perfect way to start the day and the view was spectacular. We didn't get a chance to venture out, as we only stayed one night.There are elevators or stairs, your choice. We will definitely stay at this Best Western again.

Decent hotel. Fairly quiet even though it is next to the freeway. Kwik Trip and Wal-Mart are right next door.

Don't go here to sleep as the traffic noise is awful! The bathtub and pool area was nothing I wanted to use. Breakfast provided was good.

Room was fine, front desk folks unenthusiastic, nice restaurant in the parking lot.. unaffiliated but still good. Breakfast here at hotel was good.

I am looking forward to perhaps staying in my same room in October. The room was awesome, the staff was incredible. I have no idea why someone would put a bad review in here for this place other than keeping this place for themselves. Oh well, I'll take itRooms: I had the king siuite with the jet tub.Walkability: It was easy to get to other places

The bed was comfortable, clean sheets, clean towels, but my shower and jacuzzi tub were excessively moldy. I was so excited to use the jacuzzi tub, but there was thick black moldy slime on the jets. No way I was going to use that. The coffee provided was instant coffee from a machine and was terrible. The breakfast was mediocre and same food every day. Eggs and sausage. It would have been nice to have some variety. I think the highlight was the bed and pillows which really worked for me as I have back and neck issues. This hotel is just average, but could clean in the bathrooms better, provide more variety for breakfast, and real coffee.

Best Westerns are better than a 2 star hotel, not sure why they get that ranking. This hotel room was very clean and spacious and had 2 queen beds. It also came with a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were small and thin and not comfortable. The fridge had been turned off and we did not realize until the next day. We had leftovers from dinner that we put in and found out several hours later they were not good. Fridge should be left on or guests should be told to turn them on. Housekeeping replenished towels but did not straighten the beds. We were there 4 nights. We did not expect them to change sheets, but straightening the beds would be nice (part of the motel/hotel experience). Front desk staff were friendly as were breakfast staff. Lots of choices for breakfast!! Hotel was in safe and quiet area.Nearby activities: Hotel is approximately 20 minutes to the Dells which has a lot to do and seeWalkability: Can walk to steakhouse but need car for pretty much everywhere else.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was very good. In addition to eggs and sausage, there was oatmeal with various fixings, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. Across the parking lot is Suzy's steakhouse which is amazing for dinner.

We booked this hotel as it was the halfway point on a long drive home from vacation. From the outside, it looks brand new and the pictures online look great. Complete opposite on the inside. There are holes all over the curtains, the sheets are stained, plaster coming off the window sills, the pull out bed in the living room is the thinnest mattress I've ever seen, you are literally just laying on springs. We had a two room king suite, our jetted tub was so gross we couldn't even use it, so much stuff floating in the water. While the pool and hot were both good sized, they were both very, very dirty, there is plaster coming off the walls everywhere in that area and only three of the jets worked on the hot tub, they also had the heat cranked up in that room and it was easily 100° inside of that room which made it impossible to try to cool off. And the complementary breakfast was absolutely awful. It is nothing but very gross out of the package processed food, there are no eggs, no meat, are no meats, no decent food options. Will definitely not stay here again. The only good thing that came from this stay was the fact that we ate next door at Suzy's Steak and Seafood and it was hands down the most amazing food ever.Rooms: Awful. Plaster coming off in numerous spots, didn't seem clean, holes in curtains, stains on sheets, jetted tub too dirty to use.

The room was really great! I had a fifth floor room with a balcony. Bed was comfy, everything was clean. The room has a jet tub. Was a great night. The breakfast was definitely lacking though. Just sausage links and eggs, and make your own pancakes, not what I'd expect for over $250 a night. So it was expensive too. But overall a good stay. Not much to walk to except the one restaurant that shares a parking lot, and I didn't try it.Walkability: Not much walkability to talk about, just one restaurant. Everything else too far away and no sidewalks to get there. I did walk to the KFC, but it was a really long walk.Food & drinks: Breakfast desperately needs improved

Was there for an extended stay. Got to know the people who worked there. They were always cordial, helpful, and professional. They made my stay much easier. The road to the hotel needs some work, but the drive was worth it. I highly recommend it. Best place in Portage, WI.
