Had a lovely stay here on August 18th. You can't beat the price ($14/night for electric up to 50 amps). The woman I booked the reservation through was really nice and laid back. The campground is quiet, chill and safe. The woman's restroom was clean, despite some mildew on the shower ceiling (no big deal). Dog-friendly and free WiFi. Great option if you're looking for something near the Apostle Islands that's inexpensive and includes electricity. I stayed in spot 2, which is near the bathrooms and has a picnic table and fire pit.Restrooms: The woman's restroom was clean, despite some mildew on the shower ceiling (no big deal)

We had been traveling across country for two weeks and needed a place to stay in our camper overnight in the Port Wing area. This was the only campground we could find that had a vacant site, so we reserved a spot on the phone en route. I was told it was electric only, no water. We have stayed at many campgrounds without a water hookup overnight, no problem. We just fill up our holding tank before parking and use our water pump. When I checked in, I paid the fee, which was only $14. Cheap. I asked where we could go to fill up our tank and was told they don't have water on premises. What? I've never heard of such a thing. I asked where I could go to fill up my tanks, and they suggested I go to Cornucopia which is 15 miles down the road. Unbelievable. We were headed there to get water and stopped at a different campground on the way. I asked their host if I could fill up there, and they graciously allowed us to. I paid them for their trouble. When we got back to Anchor Inn to park in our campsite, we discovered that there were water spigots all over the place, just not at our particular site. We could have easily filled our holding tank there. Why in the world they told me they have no water is beyond me.On another note, the bathroom was terrible. It was a quiet campground. I'll give it that.Would I stay there again? No.

Been coming up here for almost 30 years. Good service. Nice little cabins. Plenty of parking. Awesome smoked fish at the Johnson store next door. Funny that people would leave a bad review because of poor wifi (which has been updated and works great now) but you are on vacation up north turn off your phone and enjoy it.

The campground is an absolute dive. Run down campers. Impossible to figure out where your spot is and honestly, I wasn’t sure I would be safe. I booked to camp here in my travel trailer. Drove through. Drove on out and departed the area asap. If you need cheap, this is for you. Nothing to write home about. Will post pix soon.

Absolutely loved our stay at the anchor Inn Campground! So much that we came back the next week and have stayed at two different cabins. They are so cute and so cozy, close to everything in town and has everything you need right next-door.The family who runs the campground and store are very genuine people who care and who are at your service If you happen to need anything. Some of the nicest people you’ll meet.Jessica, her dad and family are absolutely awesome and excited to return soon..Thank you for making our stay so awesome and sending many blessings to you and your family! ??

This place has been our vacation spot for years. We brought our kids and now we have a huge crew of our kids with their kids and some of their kids! It is so affordable and comfortable and clean. A nice change from the normal fast paced places. We can relax and enjoy the quiet and beautiful spot! We love it!!

One of the best I've seen!! The owner is very nice and will do anything to accommodate your stay here! And a store rite next to it that has any essentials you could need on your stay!!

The only reason this didnt get a 5th star was because the bed was horrible. For 1 night is was doable but the rest was super cute and I would stay longer if there was a better bed.

Small sites, some much smaller than others. We were stuck within a few feet of a seasonal on one side and the public bathroom on the other. Wifi was not consistent and needed a 50ft cable to attach to power. Anyone of these things is not the end of the world but not really a campsite, more of a trailer park.

This is a nice little RV park with clean restrooms and showers. It is mainly filled by seasonal renters, so call before showing up if you need to hook your RV up.
