We recently bought a 2020 Chevy Tahoe from VanHorn in September 2023. We were told that the vehicle previously was bought back by the manufacturer to replace some parts, however due to the pandemic was sitting for quite some time waiting on said parts (which contributed to the low miles). there was NOTHING said about the condition of the title when we purchased the vehicle. fast forward to November 2023, we went to go trade in our vehicle because we realized we needed a bigger one to pull our camper. the dealer we went to informed us that the Tahoe actually had a branded title which is worth at least $5,000-$10,000 less than another Tahoe without the branded title status. We are extremely upset and feel deceived by this dealer. will never go back. Be aware!

I was suggested here from insurance and I have nothing but good things to say. They did an oil change & detail while my car was getting repaired. They kept me updated throughout the time it was there as well. ?

Contacted via email about a vehicle they had brought in, then was contacted back and was passed onto another salesman. At that point was told the vehicle was inspection and i had requested photos and certain information. Was told they would get back to me. 2 days went by no response. Messaged and they said it was still getting looked over. 3 days went by and no response. Sent another email and was told they would have all that information to me on monday. Never heard back. Then just today i emailed and was told the truck was sold when no one alerted me someone else was looking at it. Thats pretty bad communication on their part how i the customer had to reach out and no one wanted to contact me back. Well now they get a 1 star for horrible customer service(not like they will read this anyhow but id rather warn the next person who attemps to purchase

I had an accident and I have full cover insurance with Prograsive. I took my car to vahorn at plymouth, Wisconsin for the collision repair but Progressive refused to paid in full they only paid for one part, the internal damaged and other parts Progressive refused to paid. The control arm was badly damaged and my car ran very bad. For some of the small body parts, the dealer paid out of their pocket to repair them for me with no charge. So I'm sharing experience with you. Thank to vanhorn the dearler for the free repair. It said the photos are too large an't upload.

BUYER BEWARE!!! My husband bought a car from Van Horn Plymouth 2 years ago. He was shown a vehicle condition report that was not Carfax and told it had been in a minor rear quarter panel accident, nothing major. It looked perfect and ran well, for 2 years...Even after regular maintenance done by a reputable shop, 2 years after purchase, the engine has died completely and needs replacement. It only has 91,000 miles on it. No reason for this to happen! We took it in to trade, and another dealership ran a Carfax that reports the vehicle was deemed a total loss by the insurance company in that "minor" fender bender. Now, no one will buy it because it was totaled. And we still owe on it. Stay away from this shady dealer!Brianna - Paul spoke with Jerry, the manager, and he washed his hands of us. Used the fact that we live out of state now as an excuse, "well, the geography makes it hard for us to do anything." How about you pay for a new motor or pay off the loan?! People move all the time.

I went to look at a used jeep, it was a 2015 with 110k miles. i knew it was high miles but I didn't mind. what I didn't know was that i would end up finding out that the steering wheel had a nasty shake, there was touch up paint all over, and scuffs. the ugly aftermarket wheels on it were curbed numerous times causing a bent or broken wheel. the dealer swapped the front and rear wheels and the shake was greatly reduced, but this did confirm that one or more wheels was junk(they thought these wheels that were missing paint were worth the 2k they cost when brand new), and that there was something wrong with the steering. when I went around the vehicle examining the paint and underbody, i told the salesman about all the touch up paint I saw that hadn't been there the previous time I test drove it, and he told me that there would be someone else who wouldn't know as much about cars or what to look for. they originally wanted 21600, they dropped it to 20k and I offered 18... they refused my offer even though the wheels are all junk, the steering still had a shake, and the paint needed probably a whole tube of touch up paint and would likely be bubble rusting within the year. if your looking at used vehicles here i would look very closely at the paint in good lighting before making decisions. otherwise the salesmen were all very nice.

Buyers beware! ! Don't use this company's website to do a deal. They tell you what you're payment is then you drive all the way down there and they tell you a completely different number. Classic bait a switch! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!

I enjoy using Van Horn Chevy as that’s where I purchased my vehicle and I have the oil for life. Today I had an oil change and tire rotation. I was charged $2 for “shop supplies” with no explanation on what shop supplies were needed. The oil change was complementary and I paid for the tire rotation. This just seems like a way to squeeze a couple extra dollars out of people. I understand it’s only $2 but if happens to say 40 people that’s $80 a day and $400 a week.Services: Tires

This place really stinks. Will not take a down payment on a vehicle. Been working with them for over a month. Made appointment to meet up, then suddenly cancelled on me, sold to someone else. Told them id buy the vehicle, still obviously didn't care. Save your time, avoid this dealership at all costs.............
