I go to this outlet store often since I love wearing Columbia polos for work. I was in this location not to long ago. Purchased two polos. I grabbed them off the rack, took them straight to the register. Purchased said polos and walked out and into the Reebok store which is right next door. I went back lnto the Columbia store to return one of the polos. This was not even 17 minutes later after purchasing them. I went to the register. Handed my bag to the employee and told her which one i would like to return. She called a manager to the register and i was denied a return due to “the product smelling” i told her look at the receipt i just purchased this not even 17 min ago. She did not bother to look at the receipt and said she has the right to deny returns due to damaged Merchandise and that she can’t sell the product anymore. I told her again i purchased this 17 min ago and did not try anything on nor touch the product besides bringing it to the register to purchase. She still claimed it was damaged and refused my return. Needless to say I was very upset and even embarrassed. I felt profiled more than anything and did not even get an apology from her. I called corporate who apologized for her and told me they cannot believe that happened and gave me a discount for a future purchase. I do not care about receiving any discount but just cannot believe the lack of respect I received and how a manager provided no type of customer service. I do not understand how a product smells after i purchased it when it is an outside mall and i also walked to the store next door and back and the polos never left the bag. How can a product smell after that!?

Alison is amazing! She's the most knowledgeable person. She takes pride in her work! She deserves a raise for sure. Wish more people in the world were like her. She cares about her customers and tries to help. I never wore Columbia before her. Thanks Alison!

There was a jacket in clearance but rang up as full price so annoying. They should have honored it anyways. I won’t come back here. all there jackets are all over the place it’s a wreck in this store. Besides it’s spring time. All winter jackets should be on sale…. Not full prices what a rip off
