The manager is rude I was recently hired through their hiring agency and notified via email that I was no longer hired 2 days before start because apparently they made a mistake and the store wasn't looking for people. The way the manager explained it to me was very rude and unsympathetic to my situation I turned down a job offer for this position and now am unemployed again due to then trusting an agency not even located in Wisconsin to do their hiring for. I think they should hire for respectful managers at least.

Prices are a little steep, especially when you're a broke college kid but if you're looking for any sort of UWP clothing this is probably your best bet! Sales do happen, but only with very specific items, I generally don't need a buy 3 get the 4th free on coffee mugs...

Prices are a little steep, especially when you're a broke college kid but if you're looking for any sort of UWP clothing this is probably your best bet! Sales do happen, but only with very specific items, I generally don't need a buy 3 get the 4th free on coffee mugs...

It's very convenient to have this outlet on campus, but I had a bad experience trying to exchange a sweatshirts for a different size after buying as a gift.

I really wish I could say that I love everything about Platteville but there are a few areas of the campus that are really frustrating and I hope they get better. It's not so much the policies at the bookstore as it is the people they have working there. They seem to be unwilling to offer superior customer service or maybe their policies are too restrictive, either way, it's difficult to shop there. I went in there to pick up my cap and gown and I asked a question, they responded as if I were ridiculous for even asking it. Most recently I purchased a T-shirt and I needed to exchange it for a different size. They would not even consider the possibility of exchanging it *with* the receipt because I had removed the plastic thread that holds the tag on (I kept the tag with the shirt though, I just tried it on!). Bad service from a handful of employees. I hope they get better, I want them to get better because I love Platteville and I want it to be the best it can be. I will probably just order things offline and avoid the store or buy knock-off apparel from one of the stores in town.
