“Me to the cashier at the BP gas station in Pickerel Wisconsin--"Thank you for having such clean bathrooms and cold air conditioning, I almost didn't come out, after spending 3 days at Boy Scout camp." Cashier smiling big: "We don't do dirty! We go in there several times a day with bleach!" Tim, adult son of my friend Paige who went to camp with is us as the leadership transition team had not gone to the restroom yet, he paid and as I went to the car with all of our items he went to use the facilities. Coming back in the car, he said "those bathrooms are not clean---they are pristine!!" Thank you Becky at Pickerel BP-- you are right! You don't do dirty!!”

“We were up in Pickerel for a snowmobile trip and stopped at the Northwoods Inn for breakfast. The meal was great and so was the service. While chatting with Kelly, one of the owners, we told her it was our first trip to the area to snowmobile. She sent out her husband, Perry, who wrote down a suggested route for our day’s ride and invited us to come back again and he’d come up with another one. The route he gave us was awesome and we had a super day. We ended up eating breakfast there for two days and came back for Prime Rib on Saturday night! The food was consistently excellent (thanks, Perry), as was the service. We’ll be back this summer to do some side-by-siding and are looking forward to going back. The outdoor patio area with the fireplace looks like it would be great fun in the warmer weather. We came in as new customers and left on Saturday night feeling like we’d made some new friends. Thanks, Perry and Kelly!”
