Was in town grouse hunting and the dogs found a porcupine. They stayed after hours to help get the quills out. Very empathetic with my situation and very helpful. They were upfront with everything that needed to be done and what to expect. They got us out qucker than expected, and the dogs were in the woods the next day. Very nice people working there. I appreciate their help.

My dog got quilled by a porcupine while on vacation up north and I had to rush my poor dog in. The Dr. Ludwig made time in her full schedule to quickly sedate him and remove the quills. They were very accommodating and understanding. The team called the morning after to check in. Thank you Dr. L and team!!!

While Dr. Ludwig had Keisha upside down, doing an ultrasound on her belly area...she said that IF we wanted her to check in another particular area of her belly it would cost MORE money and did we want her to proceed. I can't tell you how outraged we we're. My dog was so ill. They never could figure out what was wrong with her and we eventually due to the progression of what ever it was she had...she was put to sleep. We we're heartbroken. That first day cost $1,000 and there we're no answers. We did spend more but we wanted answers. No help for our beloved dog. We would have spent more if they could treat her. Dr. Ludwig is all about the money and this should tell you all. Another time, prior, we had brought Huxley in - her recommendation. When we arrived she asked me why we we're there. I just couldn't stand the horrid treatment of our dogs. You may get good treatment or you may not...do you want to take the chance? That is entirely up to you.

Dr. Ludwig is the worst, we took our cat in for a fever and she didn't do a full exam, she also gave us wrong medicine that was for dogs. DO NOT even go here, she is bad! 7 years ago she also held eye medicine for our bird and for an appointment, she said we had to pay 65 dollars even though it was our first visit even though the first visit is free, and also this place is also somewhat overpriced. Never going here ever again.

North Country is one of the best vets I have used in over a half-century of sharing my life with dogs. I want the same level of care for our animals as I do for our kids-the best. NCVC provides that. My Lab is there as I type, getting some dental work done. I know it will be done well, and limited to what is needed. Strongly recommend them.

I took my cat to North Country Veterinary Clinic. My cat was dehydrated. All that my cat needed was antibiotics and fluid. I sat in the waiting area for a very long time. Finally, I asked the receptionist what was going on. She said, they were performing additional tests on the cat. I said, I never authorized additional tests! I talked to the owner, and questioned why they were performing further testing without my permission? She said, it was protocol. I said, that was absurd. They charged me over $300!! I was expecting to pay $50.Do not go here. I have friends and family that tried this business, and they suck you dry $$$.

The staff are amazing and they try to work with your schedule. It is pricey but other than that they take really good care of you!

Our mini-golden has been to the clinic 4 times now. She is very comfortable and displays no anxiety while there. The staff truly loves animals. They explain all procedures and what to expect afterward. Poppi just had surgery with no complications and a great recovery.

The vet came in after hours for an emergency visit to see our lab. I was pleasantly surprised. She did a fantastic job and they were willing to see our lab when no other local places were. Thank you again, we appreciate you guys! I believe we will be transferring the care of our dogs to them from now on for all our vet needs.
